So the new Nevermen album is out now as well.

Really not my cup of tea.

It really isn't very good. It seems to be really jittery, like they can't find a style they like. Everything moves too quickly on that record.

Absolutely, just too much chaos on there. I really like other projects by Doseone (cLOUDDEAD for example, but this just doesn't do the trick for me.

I really admire BoC for making a gem of a remix out of that sub-par record. This new remix is possibly my favourite boc remix, displacing last walk around mirror lake.

So happy to hear this in high quality. I feel dirty if I use a shitty YouTube rip. Thx ipecac, lex, and blerp.

At 1:58 there is a message. I've isolated it the best i can and slowed it down:

It says "Bill Annis lied".

Here is an interesting page on Bill Annis: http://www.fcfcanada.ca/bill--duska-annis.html

Sounds more like 'genocide', or 'genesis' to me.
Out and about.

This track is brill. Boards always brings such uniqueness to every song they remix. They truly are wizards. And I'm a sucker for anything involving Dose and Mike Patton 8) this is like the closest thing to new cLOUDDEAD! so cool
The preparation for a dive is always a tense time.

I only just listened to the original, I really like it a lot, almost as much as the remix. BoC did an amazing job of giving the piece such a different feel. Having heard the remix first over and over, I really didn't expect the original to sound as it does.

hey guys i did a little instrumental remix of this, was just for me really so not perfect.. but thought some of you might like to hear it. it's funny; the course of editing it the lyrics irritated me less and less.. but i still prefer it unadorned.

it's on this mix:

I looove the multiple climaxes in your instrumental. A touch to jarring with the sudden inclusion of all the instruments, but really top notch work.

Beautiful.

Just gave it a second play………this is the kind of song that needs space in between listens to appreciate its environment.

I know that many fans probably didn't like the vocals, but I for one think it's very interesting to hear them work with voice.
The only other vocal-containing tracks that come to mind for me are the Beck song, and "Trapped", as Hell Interface.

(By the way, for those fans who didn't like the vocals: it's possible some of you have thought of it…but it's a silly notion to entertain that this one little remix is representative of what the next album will sound like.
Their albums do not work in lyrics, but in feelings and textures.)

This is a terrific example of what a remix should be, as well as the crafting of any song:
The rise-and-fall
something which they did marvellously with Seven Forty Seven, Music is Math, Alpha and Omega, The Beach at RedpointDayvan Cowboy

They know exactly how to introduce their world.

A Turquoise Hexagon Sun that rises, shines its ideas over the bustling landscape, and finally comes to set.

movemental, there are 2 other BoC remixes with vocals. The cLOUDDEAD one (Dead dogs two) and the Why? one (Good friday).

Funny that most of their remixes are somehow related to the anticon collective/members of cLOUDDEAD.
