Blake hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina was playing BoC when I walked in. Cant remember the song. I literally stopped dead in my tracks, grabbed my gf and said LISTEN!

She didnt get it.

Not so much a 'hear' as 'read mentioned' this one.

Famous Edinburgh-based crime novelist Ian Rankin in The Quietus talking about returning to music after a self-imposed exile in France....

When we moved back to the UK after being six years in France and four years in London before that… that's ten years when music hadn't been that important to me. But when we moved back I just got straight back into it, and everything had changed. Suddenly there were all these Scottish bands that I didn't know anything about, like Mogwai, Boards of Canada and the Blue Nile.

^^ I read that too.

Great selection he came up with. I'm a big fan of Ian Rankin.

heard Dayvan Cowboy on BBC1 and heard BoC + AFX on Top Gear
EDIT: I recently heard BoC, and Bonobo, on a science program at my school. It was about dying birds in Beebe, Arkansas. (Dayvan Cowboy was used for this I think and Noctuary? or Flutter? by Bonobo)

Hi everyone! Thought this would be a good topic for my first post. Well, actually, my mom introduced me to BoC. I was really young, and she played Music Has The Right to Children for me in the car all the time.

Zoetrope played on Stargazing live tonight :)

It's always great to listen to some BoC while looking out the window of a plane, or driving around the city at night I think. Also you can't forget about just chilling outside on the grass in the sun, or down by a river.

I'd say the strangest was the last time i smoked DMT though, haha. Listening to Dayvan Cowboy (Not really a "place" I know, but you get the idea if you've been there ;) ). Felt like Joe Kittinger! Was an amazing experience, I still feel funny when i hear that tune. On a side note, I still can't listen to SAW by Aphex properly anymore after a very very intense acid trip. I almost feel like i'm getting flashbacks or some shit. I still listen to it all the time, up there with my very favourite albums for sure.
