Turquiose Hexagon Sun sample origins?

In the song Turquiose Hexagon Sun there are some sensuous sounding female moaning samples followed by what sounds like a booty being slapped. I always wondered if anyone knows the origin or has even heard it themselves.
Call me a perv (maybe I am) but my ears know what they hear.

Whole thing's just a tape recorder left on at a party, innit?

The first vocal sample I hear is a female stating "you have some food on your face"

Which makes me think it's all sampled from a picnic or from some kind of old recording of a family gathering.

This has always been my thought. And given the title, at a Hexagon Sun shindig, specifically.

I can hear the party sounds, men and women talking and laughing towards the end. I cannot make out what they're saying, thanks for the help there, I can hear a woman with an English or British accent. But the samples in the beginning of the song, those breathy female moaning sound samples are very sensuous sounding. I could swear there is a booty slap (done in lots of porn flicks) also sampled and slipped in as a beat. Probably too obscure to be identified but I didn't know if it was from a skin flick if the other sounds had any connection to each other. Anyway still waiting on the vinyl delivery because I live in the US. Maybe with the vinyl and a good set of headphones I can make out the voices.

One of the best sample used in their music, it almost like a track is breathing, amazong

The version of track 20 here is sampled from the ending of the 1982 porn movie "A Brief Affair". The "Music Has the Right to Children" version is a re-recorded version, with the line "a so-called obscenity case" changed to "a censorship case or a so-called obscenity case" and the line "stop you from viewing an adult film" changed to "stop you listening to Boards of Canada".

From BOC Maxima track 20 is 'One Very Important Thought'
I saw this posted on the Discogs site.

I don't have the movie so who knows?
Also this does not relate to the original referenced track other than to point out that sampling porn movies is not out of the question.

I think what you guys are hearing as a booty slap, I've always heard as a billiard break. Listening again now I guess it would make sense to be a slap with all the moaning involved, but the sound continues after the moaning stops so idk.

I too have always heard a billiard break - also worth noting that the same cracking noise appears in Orange Hexagon Suns percussion but minus any of the other moaning/chatter noise..

Aye, I always just assumed it was a recording of a bunch of people at a pub chatting and playing pool. I think you can even hear a chink of cutlery at some quiet points of the track.

i think the recording is one they did specifically for the song. although they've got the high end chopped off for some of it or filtered it in some way, the signal seems pretty clear for the most part, like it was recorded with a marantz and a boom. they might have used a pitch lfo or something on it afterwards or resampled it to tape. at least that's how i hear it. the 'there's been a leak' segment, for example, is too clear to have been recorded on tape or dictaphone. but then they may have recorded that separately and layered it over the other atmos... so i guess i'm sort of saying something, and saying nothing at the same time. you're welcome.

Interesting, never thought of a billiard break. It is fantastic that our imagininations invent all these images. I was imagining people at a party also.

Trying to guess what BoC's percussive samples are is generally a one-way trip to nowhere. For all we know it could be the sound of a lobster being thrown against a wall.

On the note of the conversation however, has anyone else noticed that one of the female voices is nearly identical to one of the female voices that punctuates all 3 of the recorded live sets?

You can make out the conversation pretty clearly over the live sets. Her name is Rebecca and she is looking for a sofa to sleep on that night from everything I can hear, they are also waiting for their friend Robin. (can't remember which live set, may have been atp).
