VERY! Not what I would have expected.

I recently heard Reach for the Dead in the bathroom of a health food store in Fairfax, California. Not that weird all things considered but it completely caught me off guard and changed my mood quite a bit. I've been taking a vacation from Tomorrow's Harvest so it definitely brought me back a ways into summer.

I heard Chromakey Dreamcoat in a Starbucks once, my friends didn't understand why I was so excited.

One time I heard gyroscope in the movie "Sinister." And let me tell you, the scene that they played it in made it sound very... Evil.

The 'Mountains' episode of The Great British Winter on BBC 2 recently, used at least 2 straight minutes of Sunshine Recorder... about 30 minutes into the programme.

But perhaps more interesting: a major TH spot - whoever chose the music for this single story about the 1990 Strangeways prison riot on the One Show yesterday evening, might just like the album a bit!

Let it run through the story to the end at 56 minutes or so...

A couple of BoC songs featured on BBC Stargazing Live :)
I can't recall which one's as I just about forgot about this thread. Was a pleasant surprise.

Not so much hear, but I see BoC in this video. Noticed it last night on TOTP2 on BBC2.

Can anyone see what I mean

New Seeds on Top Gear tonight.

And Gemini..almost fittingly during a segment about driving through Chernobyl.

Don't know if it's a strange place to hear BoC, but they played both 1969 and Dayvan Cowboy on the Danish X-Factor show.

These days that's a far stranger place to hear it than on Top Gear! During what part of the show was it played?

Well, they played the two songs at two different parts of the show. 1969 was played at the "bootcamps" as a little interlude and Dayvan Cowboy was used in the liveshow introducing one of the artists.

Was pleasantly surprised to hear Dayvan Cowboy during a scene in the middle of Next Goal Wins at a preview screening last night.

Trailer for the film here (doesn't have the track in here though): http://www.theguardian.com/film/video/2 ... tary-video

I can't recommend the film highly enough btw, whether you like football (soccer) or not. Genuinely heartwarming, just brilliant.

Another BBC doco.. There's a BOCer who's doing the music on these doco's, slipping some BOC in whenever they can.. This is a sad one.

Kid For Today

Very appropriate I guess considering the theme..

Bit of Brian Eno as well towards the end as well :)

This isn't actually BoC, but I think this section of music is pretty obviously influenced by them, the rhythm is very Gyroscope.

You're gonna carry that weight.

Heard them while shopping at Ikea. Not sure how strange that is, but I was pleasantly surprised.
