Hey fam,

I'm from the US and started listen to BoC about 2 years ago
and have never stopped. I came across this site from
the /r/boardsofcanada subreddit; which I didn't know
there was a huge community behind.

Something about the music gives me the feels which is
why my username is m.feels.

I'll be browsing around and picking up what I can.

Hello Twoism, been a fan of BoC for a while now. Their music is a soundtrack to many parts of my life and memories which I have for good or ill. I look to make friends here and be a part of this fantastic community that the admins and mods have helped create.

I'm a fan of BoC located Somewhere in New York.
I like radios, photography, collecting vinyl, and playing with synths.
I am an amateur musician and radio operator.

I've used marijuana twice, neither of which to Boards of Canada (Fun Fact!)

Anyone else on here a ham operator? I've decided that this year I'm going to get a technician license and a radio. I've been wanting to do so for years, but I think now's the time. It's a lot easier these days because you're no longer required to learn Morse code, although I want to learn that eventually.

Seems like a good hobby. Obviously, the main incentive is that chicks totally dig it. :?

I decided to come back to this place after 5 years off. I make music and videoart as Cyclea and do videography in Texas for a living. Nice to meet you.

Welcome all. For those delving into the heady brew of Twoism.org talent you could do worse than checkout the OneOnTwoism compilation as a starting point.

Hi there, I just wanted to poke my head in here and say hi.

I love creating musical ideas and playing analog synths, although I'm not very good at the moment i will keep on trying.

I'm really inspired by all these musicians i see on this board like PBS73, clocolan and Faex Optim just to name a few, so yea it's nice to be here as a fan and a music maker alike.

Been tooo long. Feel a bit lost on here. Stepped away for a while to get away from all of the social media stuff. Had a major nervous breakdown and couldn't find any creativity left in my mind. Finally got my puzzle pieces back together again and currently writing new tunes. Playing Drums in a Hard Core Punk Band has been fun, but not nearly as fun as writing electronic music. Oh well, poor me cry cry, hahaha. Hope everyone is well. Has BoC released anything new since Tomorrows Harvest?

They released two remixes about a year ago:

Mr. Mistake, a remix of NEVERMEN (here's the instrumental version)

And Sisters, a remix of Odd Nosdam.

Also recently they've been dropping videos of previously released tracks on twitter. Some around here think that it's buildup/hype for an album later this year.
Welcome, my friend. These are my people; now they are your people too.

Hello friendly strangers, new seed here. Thought it would be best to introduce myself before diving in.

Been a BOC fan since high school (circa 03/04) and I still consider them my all-time favorite band. They are, I believe, the epitome of what music should be: beautifully original compositions with enough treasure buried beneath the melodies to keep you digging for years.

I make music as well. Not necessarily in the same vein as Boards, but I try to approach the process in a similar fashion. Half the time I spend listening to BOC is simply research (studying production techniques, where everything sits in the mix, how to bring tracks and bits in without drowning or distracting other tracks, etc.)

They are truly geniuses, and I think there's much to learn, and enjoy, in every BOC release to date.

Hi everyone,

Some of you may recognize me from the BoC subreddit, where I have been posting for the last few months. You may also know me as the moderator of the Radiohead subreddit. I've been listening to BoC for probably around 8 years now, however I've only just recently gotten into the obsessive "collect all rare unreleased live material" and "speculate wildly on future releases" phase, so that's why I'm here. I've been over on AtEaseWeb speculating and discussing new Radiohead releases for nearly a decade and now I'm here to do the same. :)

See Ya Later
