Dude! Your music is great! I grabbed Germination Sunglasses from your bandcamp and listened to it on repeat for an hour on the drive home from southern Ontario. Really beautiful stuff.Betterthanyourkids wrote:[media]<a class="vglnk" target="_blank" href="https://soundcloud.com/thepablocollective/physics-of-a-car-crash[/media" rel="nofollow"><span>https</span><span>://</span><span>soundcloud</span><span>.</span><span>com</span><span>/</span><span>thepablocollective</span><span>/</span><span>physics</span><span>-</span><span>of</span><span>-</span><span>a</span><span>-</span><span>car</span><span>-</span><span>crash</span><span>[/</span><span>media</span></a>]

Can't wait to listen. Pablo Collective has been quite a gem for a good while now. Top notch production quality. The music is just awesome. I'm pretty darn happy to have those Pablo Collective band stickers you sent me. Cheers.

If you haven’t heard this track already, it was the track that made me continue... (inspired by Dawn Chorus)

Then, transfer through a tube compressor back into my R2R lol, I finally found where a visual spectrum analyzer comes in handy with these sort of things....now after all of these years, I keep my mixes simple except for specific effect chain automations, and hence why i multitrack to 8 track cassette workstation that allows me to "DJ" my own samples, then I transfer to R2R hot through a tube compressor at +3-5db of hot clipping
although, if you want the "1000 year grain" sound....then recording over and over on a tube type r2r will result in very heavy "coloring"..... i hear this "tone/effect" the most in Campfire Headphase, Twoism, Trans Canada Highway, and Tomorrow's Harvest most noticeably....
here is an older song of mine that is "drenched" in 1000 year grain analog tube glory!...
