Juana Molina, a musician from my own country, released her new record recently and I think it has some great tracks.

new collaborative record between Doseone and Mestizo,
Sounds fresh, current, vital, while still remaining extremely original and forward thinking.

super good stuff.

and shout out to that Juana Molina record, too. Fascinating stuff, I've not heard much like that.

Quiet in here. Nothing new and interesting released in the last two months? Hard to believe.

The new Mogwai and LCD Soundsystem albums are both out today and are both fantastic. The LCD one especially.

Appart from boc I'm also a huge fan of biosphere. I was charmed by his latest 'The Petrified Forest': https://biosphere.bandcamp.com/album/the-petrified-forest-6-track-mini-album.

Also liked the Pessimist-album on first listen. Had some old dnb vibe in it, reminscent of olscool Torque (no u turn) meets photek meets early goldie.

with the family in the car we play the soundtrack to babydriver (wife and the kids have other tastes :-))
whooosh

Agree 100%. The Mogwai one is a grower I think. Not warmed to it totally yet, but I know I will.
The LCD Soundsystem record is bloody marvellous. Just incredible.

I've listened to this more than anything else this year, by a lot. Eno is still the master.

A sad story folks...composer/filmmaker Marcus Fjellström I heard passed away earlier this month. I wasn't familiar with his work but found his Youtube channel and this amazing work from January this year:
