Thank you for uploading those AcoustIDs. Honestly if more folks would fingerprint their releases it would help suss out which ones are way-too-similar. :)

My thoughts exactly. I'm going to spend an afternoon making and sending fingerprints of my own work. I'd recommend other twoismer indies do the same. Not just for this eyesix debacle, but for future cases.

(Feh, I just realized that these were posted earlier. Only reason I posted them was because they weren't in the spreadsheet yet. Apologies).

No apologies necessary, was just joking around! I'm just glad seeing more people spotting this stuff.

I do not know if anyone has already talked about it, but I remember... in his BOC covers&remixes album there was the Bocuma/Roygbiv very very close of this cover
Https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1fC5VQTvyY
(at least for the bass line on bocuma...)
I can't check myself because I did not download the album at the time and it was quickly suppressed of ACYL bandcamp

I know he uploaded a part of this tutorial video to soundcloud at one point.

phpBB [media]

I don't know if it made it onto any of his albums, so if anyone has access and wants to check, be my guest.

Perch, So who is this Gattobus? Please excuse my ignorance, I've come across some of the tracks named in this thread, originals and rip-offs, but I know not of the link between Gattobus and Jason, or are you saying Gattobus is also ripping off tracks and putting them up as his own?

As for that tutorial, I have watched it previously as I was thinking on getting an MS20mini, but still haven't gotten around to it even though I do still want one. The tutorial itself is pretty good for what it is but obviously using a BoC based line and emulating a BoC sound. Other than that I am unaware, so feel free to enlighten me :D

I'm in total shock at all of this coming to light. We lived in the same town; I actually knew the guy and had a drink with him the odd occasion. So fucking pathetic.

So sorry your return is prompted by such a horrible topic. If you do happen to bump into Jason, do mention I wish a plague of locusts infest his underpants.
