Found out about this chap on a Quietus interview with Mary Anne Hobbs, apparently he's a Serbian former factory worker who took up making music with synths when he retired, to recreate the sounds he heard during his working life.
Anyway this is quite something -

Turns out the whole Serbian factory worker story is a load of BS and that it's actually Martin Jenkins aka Pye Audio Corner. Damn shame, was such a romantic story, still the music is outstandingly beautiful.
