Recently a friend of mind recommended me the Coldcut album, "Let Us Play". I enjoyed it a lot! I think at the moment this is my favorite track from the album.

I saw Yob once about 13 years ago. It was pretty fuckin' transcendent. They're a love 'em or "turn this shit off!" kind of band. I love 'em.

Good example of how so little can be so much at the same time.

I love Prefuse! I saw him live a few years back, awesome show.

Currently on: Radiohead - "Glass Eyes"

A Moon Shaped Pool is such an amazing album. One of my favorites by them.

Anyone dig the band America? I'm not one for the 'classic rock' genre, but I love these guys.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I never got to see Motorhead live, or My Bloody Valentine, but I saw Triptykon in a medium-sized club and it was loud AF. Tom's guitar tone is legend.

Not seen MBV live yet (needs to happen!) but saw Motorhead twice. Bloody hell they were loud! Lemmy's bass was thunderous and the kickdrum shook the fillings out my teeth. Superb.

I regret not seeing Motorhead when I had the chance(s). They were one of those bands that had been around for so long, I kind of took for granted they'd always come back my way sooner or later. Oh, well. As I get older I see fewer and fewer shows, mostly because I've got family stuff going on, but partially because I want to keep my minor hearing loss from getting worse. I'm very picky these days as a result. MBV I would go see, but I'd wear hearing protection. Same with Sunn0))), Sleep, Swans and any other band whose reputation for extreme volume proceeds them. Heh.
