Reminds me a bit of Burial if he were conventional & they're a lot like Iamamiwhoami in that they've released these songs without telling anyone their identity.
It takes a lot for me to like R&B nowadays. It's saturated with over-compressed dance beats with no soul, but once in a while something comes along that makes my eyes pop out.
There's a really cool Aaliyah sample on "What You Need" and a Siouxsie and the Banshees sample on "House of Balloons - Glass Table Girls". Doc (who did Esthero & Res' debut CDs) produced "Wicked Games"

Personally I find the weekend kinda basic top 40, I dunno something about it really gets under my skin.
I was very disappointed that Daft Punk collaborated with them, I really thought it was a money grab and beneath them artistically... But they have been doing nothing but selling out for the past 4 years so I wasn't entirely surprised either.
