I am coming up to my 12 year anniversary as a member of this forum.

I don't visit regularly any more, but that might change. Life has changed for me. Meeting a group of likeminded fascinating music lovers has been an immense part of my life online. You guys have been awesome.

When my daughter was young, and I struggled to get her to sleep, you guys made me mix tapes for her, we still play these now, although I cannot remember who created them, but they helped and have become a part of our families musical history.

My father, who is my greatest musical influencer, has been an audio engineer for his whole life, most recently settling into retirement by opening a specialist audio repair shop in Liverpool. We have acquired a vast range of amazing equipment, amps and speakers, turntables and amazing in betweens.

I have recently re-kindled my love for everything musical, after ditching the 10 year waste of space that was my controlling partner. (who by the way said BOC were shit - perhaps I should have dumped him long ago)

I am so happy and amazed that this forum is still going. One on Twoism is the most played on our households varying musical devices. We only have one TV and that is for my step sister, we just listen.

Happy and glad you are still here, a credit to everyone who has been a part of this page and best forum on the whole world wide web.

Peace xx

Wow! I saw that you were on and had to respond. Good to hear from you!

It's been a loooooooong time.

Coming up on 11 years myself. Damn, that's crazy.

*squeels like a girl*

I remember that mix Aesthetics made! I grew up with some personal mixtapes in our family, so I can appreciate how much that means.

Heya Sally! Nice to see you again.

Time flies eh? Can't imagine that I have a son now which has the same age as Kitty was at the time of the mix. The irony is that when I played this mix 2 weeks ago for the first time for him, he hardly had any interest in the music... he liked the story behind it and the drawn cover very much though. I'm very jealous that you could (still can?) share your taste in music with your daughter. He is a good sleeper though ;)

Kitty now is 17  how is she doing?

Thanks guys, a lovely warm welcome. Aesthetics, thank you and kids are amazing, share all of your music no matter how un-interested they seem, you will walk past their shut bedroom door on evening listening to music you have introduced to them and your heart will melt.

Glad to be back.
