I was curious―do Twoismers wear hats? If so, what kind? Tell your hat story!

Beanie hat sometimes. Depends, generally no, but I voted yes anyway.

I wear a cheap green baseball cap for running (it's faded and is often sodden with sweat, delightful). I also often wear a red baseball cap when I am not running (not one like Fred Durst's though). I'd love to be able to get away with something classier, like a fedora or trilby but I am neither cool or attractive enough for it not to look really try-hard. C'est la vie.

As far as I've seen, wearing those nowadays makes you look like a try-hard by default.

I never wear hats anymore. Maybe one will cross my path one day.

Not sure about that Cupz. Some people can get away with it...

Generally speaking I think you should only wear a hat if your job requires it.

Unless you happen to look cool in a Stetson. In which case, wear a stetson.

I wear a bandana pretty much constantly, if that counts. It's headwear at least, right?

Toques in the winter. I have many toques and couple beanies. That wont change as it gets below -40C here.

I sometimes wear my Toronto Maple Leafs baseball cap in the summer. (kinda weird calling my hockey hat a baseball cap) Just depends on how long I'll be in the heat and sun. It gets above 40C here in parts of the summer and is frequently above 30C.

Ya, -40's in the winter, +40's in the summer... Canada ladies and gentlemen...

lucky guy, living in Canada of all places!

don't look at me i actually don't even though my profile says so

I have this nice Intel cap that I wear when going for hikes. the West Coast is pretty mild; rarely goes below 40F in winter. sometimes it's cold enough to wear a beanie but I don't like it :|

You're a walking furnace! You truly do Echo the Sun! 8)

In spring, I'm wearing shorts comfortably in 40F. In fall, I'm wearing my toque and jacket in the same temperature. I like my toques though. It just cause I get used to the heat of 40C or 104F and then fall/winter cold hits and I have to recondition myself. Then it's crazy cold a while at -40C/F. So when spring comes, 40F (4C) feels warm.

I take my hats off indoors though. It's only respectful.
