Very cool-- I can relate to many things in it. Awesome to see someone's put synesthesia into perspective for people in a way (still it's a very abstract and differentiating thing... I still think they but a good emphasis on it though).

I have a Native American friend whose parents conceived her while having sex on acid. She is also a direct descendant of the last shaman of her tribe. Of her many interesting psychic abilities, one is synesthesia. Once, after listening to me speak, she told me the color of my voice was slate blue. She also believes that anyone can learn synesthetic abilities through practice and that children have synesthesia more often than adults, but throughout life, those abilities become squashed because of things like football practice and homework.
