I love Peter Serafinowicz. His solo show was a hoot and he's been in loads of great things over the years like Spaced. His wife's Sarah Alexander, a total Betty and very funny and talented too. Plus his sister is married to Graham Linehan, writer of Father Ted, Big Train, The I.T. Crowd, Brass Eye etc. etc.
That he's a BOC fan is no surprise but I'm pleased that he's acknowledged the debt owed and influence on Look Around You. Lest we forget how the LAY music is/was one of the perennial faek scams.
Given that he's linked to so many people in the media and in particular Chris Morris (albeit through his brother in law rather than direct I would guess), I wouldn't be surprised if he was in possession of some insider knowledge from the Warp end of things. But on the other hand, he could just be picking up stray bullshit like the rest of us.
So, he's of above average reliability, but it can't be taken any, further than that.

It should be noted that MDG has not debunked this double-album rumor, yet he debunked the Skytip Mountain Air rumor within 1 hour of its posting. Confirmation through silence perhaps?

I agree, it isn't beyond the realms of possibility he might have some info (Morris is signed to Warp.. or at least, has released stuff through them) makes you wonder (okay, speculation on top of speculation here!) if Warp now have a more solid release schedule in mind for this record?
Straying off-topic slightly, a dark, twisted Morris/BoC collaboration, however unlikely, would be something i'd love to hear...

It was worth poking @serafinowicz with a Twitter question about it, though the likelihood of a response from him (considering the vast number of followers he has) is somewhat tiny. _________________ I'll see you when the sun sets east, don't forget me.

a double album seems like it's within the realm of possibility. if you consider this has been the longest they have gone between releases...maybe they have been hard at work on lots of material.

This is off topic, probably been mentioned before and not actually that important, but I just thought I'd mention that there is a BoC poster in the IT Crowd Office. It's The Campfire Headphase covert art. _________________ If I can't smoke and swear I'm fucked
