I've updated the list. This is thread is for new music our members love. There's no genre restriction.
I've so far divided the genres in two big sections:
- Ambient / Downtempo / Electronica / Experimental / House / IDM / (Modern) Classical / OST
- Electro / Folk / Garage / Hip Hop / Indie / Jazz / Metal / Pop
This list is not exhaustive. After each record I also put a genre in parentheses for convenience.
Do you like this? I'm open for suggestions to make the list even better. It's however already vastly improved over the
2016 list which was just one big flat list of albums with no genre attributed at all.

Ahmed Malek & Flako - The Electronic Tapes
https://daily.bandcamp.com/2017/03/03/a ... es-review/Dubbed “Algeria’s answer to Ennio Morricone,” composer Ahmed Malek might not have the same level of name recognition as the Italian master, but he certainly matches him in terms of output. Malek worked as a film composer, and served as the conductor of the Algerian Television Orchestra for decades. Last year, the German imprint Habibi Funk released Musique Originale De Films, a collection of some of Malek’s soundtrack work.
It was during the creation of that compilation, while digging through Malek’s archive, that the label happened upon a cache of cassette tapes containing Malek’s experiments with a battery of early synthesizers, drum machines, and field recordings. Malek, who passed away in 2008, left little documentation about the purpose of these loose, exploratory pieces. There’s speculation that some of them might have been used for an avant-garde festival in Cuba that he traveled to in the early ‘80s, but there are no photos to reveal what keyboards he was using, or who else might be playing on them. Their origins will forever remain shrouded in mystery.
Great stuff.

Narkopop is just epic, was listening to it yesterday night on my headphones and it just takes you somewhere, very magical and evem psychedelic, but with that orchestral feeling, at first it can be challenging but maybe at the track 3-4 you just completely in it, so go listen for your self.

The new Slowdive record is out today. How can a band have a 22 year gap and still sound so amazing? Wonderful.
