I'm pretty much okay health wise and emotional wise but like I'm sick of almost every time I walk around the city I get offered drugs by strangers. Like, this has happened to me three times in the past month. It gets irritating since I'm already insecure about how I look (my hair is always a mess because of my Tourette's tics acting up all the time), and I do say I look out of it all the time since I'm on prescribed medications such as Zoloft and Olanzapine (used to take Risperidone from 2015 until last year in May, since it was giving me breast tissue growth, which they had a lawsuit of, kind of made me feel worse health wise getting off of it but that's a story for another day lol). Maybe they're just doing it because I'm a teenage boy walking around the city. Still, it's irritating as fuck (not sure if I'm allowed to swear here much haha that slipped out) but I tend to ignore them by either saying "no thanks" (probably not good to engage contact with them at all, need to work on that) or just walking away saying nothing (which I did one time).

It's annoying as hell.

I think that is the most likely scenario. There is a real drug epidemic and the moment and dealers assume anyone who is a youth and not in a three-piece suit is a potential customer. I am glad you are off the Risperidone, that is some nasty stuff.

Also, swearing is absolutely fucking banned on this motherfucking board you absolute thundercunt sinner. Repent and apologise or be eternally fucking banned :D

(Mods feel free to edit if that was a bit too unsavory)

Thanks for the reassurance. It made me feel much better :P

Also yeah I'm glad to be off the risperidone too. It made me gain a shit ton of weight. It was annoying feeling constantly hungry and eating a lot lmao

There are so many people on this forum who I feel are genuine victims of antiquated antipsychotic medications with lists of side effects longer than the Thames. The way the pharmaceutical industry works isn't in the interest of the patient, ever. They try to create new substances using old ones as the basis for the formulation, all they really want are new substances that they can then patent and exclusively have the rights to sell. It then goes to marketing etc etc where, regardless of what the substance does, they try their utmost to market it for every disorder they possibly can.

This is a compilation of advertisements for Thorazine (nasty stuff that tends to zombify and immobilize people) shortly after its patenting and release by a certain pharmaceutical company. Notice how many of these are unrelated, also notice how they had no shame in marketing it to concerned parents of children with toothache and sickness.

Periodic reminder that not all healthcare systems worldwide are alike and under medicating certain mental health conditions can be more dangerous than over medicating them. The evils of big pharma are not a reason to blanket distrust pharmacology

I'm starting to notice that the real world seems to have many issues with online communities and the internet in general. That kinda worries me. Too much fucking information, too many distractions, too many opinions. Like someone wiser than me once said: "Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one". The internet, especially social media, is an extension of the collective human mind and most of it is a never-ending stream of diarrhea.

If this is true then I want to know, how does one fuck an opinion? It's gonna be the closest to anal sex I'll ever get.

Love the film and how it put's comic relief on political issues. Kinda keeps me away from the insane statements from all those online news articals. (Buzzfeed, Washington post ect.) What ever happened to the news. It's all sensationalism and propaganda now at least to me.

Ok, end of pointless rant.

Right here we go, this is a bizarre rant. Robbie ‘BASTARD’ Williams. His albums are EVERYWHERE! And I mean everywhere. Take Poundland As an example. They have their own dedicated section of CD’s to him, I go into my local poundshop and there waiting for me, rubbing it in my face......is 17 copies of his album ‘intensive care’ 17!!!! Also when I go into ANY charity shop (cause I go round them every morning) I see his albums taking up valuable space for the CD’s I’m hunting for. I have an image in my mind of a few of the albums I’m hoping to find (squarepusher, tindersticks, the flaming lips, Genesis) but I never see them. Why?
Robbie ‘ARSEBOARDING’ Williams!!

I tell you after reading this thread, I can see people get a lot more angry than me, so I thought I’d bring my ‘shouty inner monologue’ to the table.

Is it just me that goes round charity shops for albums and gets peeved at seeing the same ones constantly everyday? (Probably)

Oxfam have dedicated music charity shops in Manchester (Chorlton is the best one...I bagged a mint copy of Frank De Wulf "The Tape" on 12inch from there!)

I used to hang around with a lad from Stoke on Trent who I used buy my herbs from and occassionally go to his house and he was 2 school years below Robbie Williams at high School, told me he was bullied by him (I could easily believe it too!)

Charity shop near me (Benardos) used to sell home/pre recorded cassettes I would buy them for the cassette (esp type2s) and they would have something abominable like Tina Turner live on them, but they stopped selling them due to copyright issues (or so they said...)..I suspect people were finding pornography on the recordable unlabeled vhs tapes they were also selling and banned their sale along with the cassettes they prob came with?..to avoid prosecution for corrupting minors (good call).

Best CD I ever found in a chazzer shop was John Came - Rhythmicon 1995
Paid £1 for it.
Also recently bagged 7 SEALED x1 speed Phillips DVD Rw discs for £2!!!

Best places for cassettes and genuine cds... delve in and sift sessions... Are Ashton under Lyne (bagged some rare cassette demos/band recording from mid 90s when everyone wanted to be oasis or blur lol) and Smithfield Sunday Flea Market in Manchester...legendary place...last time I went there I found a complete collection of abandoned artist demos from what looked like a music venue office clearout, cassette and cds...the guy wasnt bothered about them whatsoever...pitched low...I offered and he accepted...lol Paid a £5er and the time before that I found a collection of American Jazz 12s (some were rare for sure!) and a box I rummaged in had loads of PC utility discs mixed in with personal cracked programmes....including ALL the "rave Ejay" programmes...the Phats and Small disc is ace!
Friends, you owe it to yourself and your family to leave the congested city, and enjoy what nature intended you to enjoy.

good finds! the best i've found in a charity shop is FSOL's lifeforms in the cellophane CD from british heart foundation for 50p and UNKLE's new album, the road: part ii the lost highway for a quid in oxfam, wish my charity shops were as dedicated to music as the ones in manchester's are :]
