Produced during 03/04, fantastic long player 'Individualism' by Hills West has finally been given a much deserved home here at Retronym. Laced with hypnotic melodies, this music is perfect for evoking those distant memories whilst walking through the park awash with autumnal colours.

Available for free download in high quality mp3 format, and for the first time in glorious flac, this really is a record your ears should not miss out on.

For those that haven't, I'm very happy to give this record a home and I'm sure you'll be glad to add to your Hills West collection :D

I dled the lossless twice because there was an error unpacking the first time. Second time was good.

I downloaded both to check and both extracted fine, maybe there were server problems or something causing the files to corrupt? If there's any more problems let me know and I'll sort it out.

Very strange! I tried them on my laptop also and they extracted fine. As a temporary measure, the individual mp3 track links are the same quality as the mp3 zip if you want to grab them instead.

At a curiosity what operating system are you running? I'm wondering whether it might be because of the long(ish) character length in the folder within the zip.

XP.
I do occasionally have problems with long file names. Is that an XP thing then?
Anyway - the individual MP3s seem to have worked just fine, so thanks very much :D

Nice work. Loved 'Brandy And Poplars' from the moment I first heard it a couple of years ago.

Yeah I love that track too, reminds me a little of early Future Sound of London and Beaumont Hannant.
