Here's a thread that I haven't seen posted yet. What song does it sound like it took BOC the longest time to write and record?

I'm convinced that it must have been Telephasic Workshop. I am always stunned when I hear the vocal manipulation come in at the end, perfectly timed and in rhythm in some way that I can't even count. Maybe it's something really simple that I don't really get, but to my ears it sounds like it must have taken weeks to get all that to sound right.
I saw my future. I saw my past. For a few minutes it was like being alive.

Yeah Telephasic Workshop is something special. Some aspect of the rhythmic structure leaves me confused and amazed, without fail.

This is my feeling too. I thought about Telephasic Workshop as soon as I read the topic

Telephasic Workshop, but also XYZ sounds pretty complex to me.

There are a few I would say, Alpha and Omega springs immediately to mind though. Quite simple elements but there are lot of subtle elements hidden away in there.
