Reforestation area

Would that channel ReforestationArea on youtube have anything to do with BoC? The songs on two of the videos sound very BoC-ish. Here are the two videos i am talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wns8vsbJ7Ls and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXf0aV1Sazg

these are nice, but would be surprised if these were anything to do with the brothers...it just lacks that extra depth you know?

I don't know who did these, but they're fucking brilliant.

They're cool songs, but I doubt they're BoC-related too. You never know, I guess.

This popped up a couple days ago. I kind of thought that first song sounded like Hills West. It was at that point that I asked, "Hey! What the hell ever happened to Hills West?!!"

The Aurora track sounds like its had the Paul Stretch treatment..Sounds like "Turquoise Hexagon Sun" to me.

I can help you guys out in regards to this one. I actually was chatting to them a few months back after discovering them on Youtube. I was just asking what was the deal with them, and about the music in the videos, this was their response: (I'm sure they won't mind me sharing either)

The music in our lovely Grand Reopening Video is by Zaphyd ( http://www.youtube.com/zaphid ) - ( https://soundcloud.com/quellor-gutang )

The track on 'Restoration Area' is the ending of 'Norkuy' by Com Truise. The EP can be downloaded for free ( http://comtruise.com/2010/07/cyanide-sisters-ep-2/ )

The track on the Reforestation Area Image Film is called 'Incandescent Autumn' and is composed by 'Chaosmachine' ( http://forum.watmm.com/user/2-chaosmachine/ ) - It's not currently available on any release.

Thank you for your interest! We are very much devoted to Reforestation, but we are also currently working on a film made from original found footage recorded by four people who went missing in Reforestation Area on 31/10/2012... view our Facebook-Page for updates on this subject:

Alright, now I'm fascinated.

edit: Done some looking on their facebook page, and it looks like they're doing something in a similar vein as Scarfolk, right? The whole lo-fi/fantasy/horror/design/70s thing?

I've downloaded the four videos that have been uploaded to this channel, in case they disappear.

I pulled 8 tracks off youtube (I believe) back in the day. Most have a certain BoC-like aesthetic, especially "Everything You Do" (and yes, it shares a good similarity to the intro of EYDIAB), Haselbourg Hike, and "We" to an extent.
