Acquiring a Tomorrow's Harvest Poster

Mon Jun 10, 2013 5:55 pm

Hey everyone, this is a bit of a long shot, but I thought I'd post this request here and see what happened.

I would very, very, very much like a Tomorrow's Harvest poster. I have pre-ordered the vinyl from my local record store (the only independent store in Victoria BC, the usually excellent Ditch Records) but being a small Canadian indie, they frequently just don't get any bonus promo goodies from record labels. I'm going in to the store to pick it up tomorrow, but I'm prepared for disappointment.

Therefore, I have an offer for everyone! If you have a poster and don't want it, OR you somehow manage to get two please let me know via PM. I'd be happy to pay you a fair price for it, or trade you for something else I might have, etc, etc, whatever floats your boat.

Thanks in advance!

I'm simply going to print my own. The chances of coming across an official one are slim, I think.

Why are the chances slim? Thousands have been printed and sent to shops all over the world.

Do you know where could I get a high res version of TH cover picture? The best I've found was 1000x1000 px, which isn't high enough for a good printing :(

I have the iTunes digital booklet in pdf.
The fonts are resoultion independent so you can easily print an A2 poster from that.

There is only one problem:
As it is a booklet you can only print a landscape version.

I have a legit Geogaddi and a Campfire Headphase Poster, and I really didn't want to include a self printed TH poster next to them, but then I said who gives a shit, so I printed it out and it looks amazing. Super high res at 18x24.

I took the one I found and cleaned up the font so it's not all fuzzed out.

Click the links to download, if you want to print it out.

@5400x7200 - 300 dpi / print out is 18"x24"

@7200x10800 - 300 dpi / print out is 24"x36"

Came out super crisp and sharp. (Grain is from my iPhone camera)

Cheers for sharing that Polar Sky, got it saved on my HD for the next time i'm decorating a room.

There is a big advertising campaign on the London underground at the moment for Tomorrow's Harvest. I'd really like one of the big six sheet posters being used. It would be a dominating presence in a room. Obviously most of them are just pasted up and they'll simply be pasted over, but lots of them are in clear light up boxes and the posters have to go somewhere when the campaign is over.

I wonder if it would be worth phoning up CBS Media, who look after the poster sites, and trying to get one of them. Probably would be a huge hassle for them and disrupt their usual workflow when changing posters to roll one up and keep it.

Steal one after another week.

I just saw a shot of the 5-6 foot tall posters in a London train station...jealous to anyone who gets one of these.

Anyone know what the biggest. Geogaddi poster was?

Okay, right, the only other Victorian on here. I knew I recognized your avatar.

Anyway, I have a friend who's living in Japan right now. He's bringing me back a few BoC related items, and one of those is the TH poster/art card/etc. I'll nag him to track down another one, and if it pans out, it's yours.
