My favorite boring question

Thu Dec 02, 2004 8:25 pm

What is your favorite BoC album ?

Thu Dec 02, 2004 10:18 pm

whoaa it's a hard question :) but i think i can answer

it seems to be that my favourite boc album is geogaddi.

i've got special memories accociated with tracks from it, and besides, it was one of the two albums that introduced me to experimental music. the second one is plaid - not for threes

of course i love mhtrtc and iabpoitc and other releases, and "everything you do is a balloon" is maybe my favourite boc track ever, along with "pete standing alone", but speaking of the whole album as one piece - i think geogaddi really is the one

Gegogaddi was the first album from them that I had heard, and it still remains my favorite, although they all kick ass...

What appeals to me about Geogaddi was the way the album had a "children's nightmare-ish" feel to it...it is quite different than their older tunes which were more optimistic in contrast....

or this.

really, it kinda works out. My favorite albums really are..
wait a minute.

"Trans Canada Highway"
"The Campfire Headphase"
TCH
TCH
anyone else realize this?

Anyway, top three are the TCH's and Twoism.
It kinda works out because my mp3 player puts Campfire Headphase, then Trans Canada, and then Twoism in that order.. So I can listen to the three of them straight and just enjoy the music.

Geogaddi without a doubt.

Really hard for me, I have these periods in which I listen to 1 album a lot, or another. Overall, I think it would be The campfire headphase, due to some trippy moments I have had with it, it just has some more sentimental value to me. Then again, the rest is fecking good as well. I dont know rly.

Favorite Album: Geogaddi. Not that I love EVERY sinlge track on it, but every track on that album fits together so well and balances out so nicley.

Favorite EP: In a Beautiful Place Out In the Country. Same reason as Geogaddi.

But my favorite release TITLE has to be Trans Canada Highway.
