I had considered that at one point, but then looking closer at the photographs you realise that most of them have the typical grain associated with a scan of a chemically developed analogue photograph. I think the one of marcus shared is either a really good scan or from a digital camera, though, so it isn't entirely impossible that it is a still from a video.

Is it just me, or does the image on the monitor look very similar to the artwork from the Mr. Mistake picture disc?
