Enlightening quotes that epitomizes being a BoC enthusiast.

"It is always darkest before it goes pitch black"
"A great deal of pain and a fair amount of blood"
"Life is hard, then you die"
"We don't need no stinkin' badges"
"Despair is a narcotic. It lulls the mind into indifference"
"You can't make everybody love you. It's an exercise in futility, and it's probably not even a good idea to try"
Molest me not with this pocket calculator stuff.

Looking at Squid's release date (June 8-9th) makes me think it's either a coincidence or someone on Warp has a sense of humor!

I'm sure some of us were hoping for something to happen around TH's 10th but I don't think they'd do it exactly on the date!

After talking with a fellow optimist, I've decided not to rule out this year and hope that BOC and OPN joint release something in the fall!

(Also, an autumn of BOC and OPN would be wonderfully dark)

Probably going to unveil some new tracks he cooked up during the pandemic. We might get a new album/EP before the gig or during the fall!

In that case, BoC 2024 probably. Would be the inverse of the 2010s with BOC preceding Aphex in 2013. Either way, we know BOC is on the way and Aphex is doing gigs so a new record is probably inevitable for both!

Gotta just hang in tight and we'll reach IDM mecca!

I was thinking... a release window of this length is very uncharacteristic for Warp. It's almost always 4-8 weeks between the initial announcement and the album/EP hitting store shelves, not 4 months!

Reckon there could be some significant shit going down between now and then?

I foresee a couple of Twitter likes of retrospective articles. Maybe even a retweet or two if they really want to get wild.

I can see CDs having a big comeback in 5 years or so. The demand for lossless / FLACs gets bigger and bigger every year, and I could see people (younger generation) in a few years viewing CDs as a way of "physically owning lossless".

Not now obviously. No-one thinks that :D

Crazy to think that back in 2010 we were speculating about that black box. And how it had been 7 years since the last BoC album. Crazy to think how it’s been almost TEN years since the last one now.

I miss that website. It was simplistic, straightforward, and easy on the eyes.

Did someone notice that now if you try to go to https://cosecha-transmisiones.com/ instead of the classic "server error: unable to reach the server" with the PC-DNS-Server image, now it doesn't even connect to that page and there's a "too many redirects" error?

They probably wait until the 18th (EU release) or 19th (US release).
