greetings all.

I showed my (fucking cool & gorgeous & artistically astute) wife the Introit/Prophecy musicvideo when it dropped.
she loved the tunes and, particularly, Beatty's visuals.
I was inspired by the visuals and made some drawings not long after. we discussed the visuals quite a bit.

anyway, flashforward: for a Father'sDay gift, my wife got me LAY-OUT #10, Robert Beatty's issue.
(link here for more info: https://www.robertbeattyart.com/LAY-OUT-No-10.)
basically, to my understanding, Seen Studioes publish these little art zines that are comandeered by a particular artist for each issue. I had never heard of this prior to receiving the gift.

I was struck immediately(!) by how similar Beatty's work within this zine is to the Introit/Prophecy visuals.
I took a couple images that I thought were most reminiscent of the musicvideo and included them below via Imgur.
as you can see in the last one, it says "Spring 2022-2023" is dates of creation.
causes me to wonder if that may be roughly the timeframe in which he created the video. or if he has been working within this media for awhile. ("visual synthesizer"? I saw people using this phrase. visuals are not my specialty, though I am an appreciator.)

generally, though, amazing little zine.
paging through it is like reading a novella in an alien language.
or like extraterrestrial mathematics. both!

Imgur link for my fotos (hope this works...I'have never used Imgur before):
