Yeah, I went. Awesome night actually, but no BOC. The secret band was Mogwai, who played their usual blinder. Photos to follow once I get home properly (I'm still about a 6 hour drive away and my parents internet is shockingly slow).

The venue was done-up like a 1950's UK holiday camp. Donkeys and hula-girls entertaining the queue outside. People dressed up as redcoats. A guy pretending to be Thurston Moore interviewing members of the crowd (including me). Inside was amazing. Loads of random entertainment and bands playing. A guy dressed up in a gorilla/bear suit playing the drums along to the DJ set (I think it was one of the guys from Belle and Sebastian...not sure). Beach balls thrown into the audience. A guy acting as a 1950's holiday camp comedian/compair who was hilarious. All good stuff.

The movie is excellent. Highly recommended viewing. Sadly I can confirm that the only BOC we hear is about 5 mins from the end of the movie (no live BOC footage) and yes it's the opening track from the ATP show we've all heard, and yes the credits named it as "Echus". Difficult to hear properly as it's played as background music to a section with lots of festival go-ers dicking about and making a noise/takling so you can't really tell if it's a soundboard recording or not.

All in all, we staggered back in the wee hours having had a superb night.

But no BOC.......

Thanks a million for that Mexicola, sounds like it was a cracking night, I'm kinda dissapointed I didn't go in the end.

Did we know it was called Echus already? That's news to me.

We take what we can from these things. I was expecting less than that actually.

Cheers, glad it was good night out.
