not trying to cause shit, but i think some of you guys are taking this fan forum a little too seriously.
lock it because there's no news to talk about? that's a bit extreme!

still, let's not let this forum turn into WATMM.

right...

i just feel this place is being ruined with bullshit threads like this.

BoC cereal, BoC hairstyles, do you think they like brown or white bread, what videogames do they like, how many sheets of toilet paper do they use to wipe, etc. etc.

No, you're right. Instead, we should talk about all the music they've been releasing these days.

lol, t-shirts FTW.

Ok, So rumor has it that they may be using orchestration in their new album... Speculations on what this might sound like?

I was wondering if the new album might sound similar to seven forty seven... maybe seven forty seven just didn't make the cut? I know Warp said that the song was "old" but I have a feeling that a lot of the music they release could have been made years ago and now they're just getting around to polishing them up. Seven Forty Seven=>Track 6 Old Tunes side A (Also, Farewell fire always makes me think of The trade winds mix they did for Michael Fakesch. Does anyone notice that or is it just me?)

And the nuke pic that popped up on the warp site, do you think their going in that sort of direction? You know the art they use for their albums are always very connected to the mood of the sound.

Thoughts?

This seems reasonable, although I'm hoping for some 100% bonefide NEW material too.

Hmmm. Less sure about this. Did I dream it, or did someone say the page with that image on was actually a few years old?? Probably just me..

When Louis Met…The Sandison
"Gonzo journalist Louis Theroux visits the revered scottish electronic duo at home in their hexagon sun studio, attends a redmoon party, sacrifices a goat and plays frisbee with the brothers."

I heard a doozy of a rumor a few months ago. Guy at a bar was insisting that BoC are mathematicians by day and musicians by night. I think he got way too into Geogaddi.

In 1880, Arthur and Leon Brin take out the first patent on a process for separating oxygen and later, in 1886, founded Brin's Oxygen Company. In 1906, this became the British Oxygen Company. It was in 1969 that this was shortened - due to the international nature of the business - to just 'BOC'.

Doubt it too, I'd reckon they have a pretty strict non-disclosure agreement @ warp.

Would be something special I guess!
