Perhaps, if the six hexagons are arranged around a center hexagon, it will produce some kind of message. Just a thought.

Edit: The first thing that comes to mind is operations between opposite sides, but that doesn't really yield anything.

Have you tried tiling them?

hex colours?

If you use the numbers as hexadecimal colour values you get this. Not sure if it means anything, but there's a lot of green. :)

Been a bit bored today as at the old folks. Decided to transpose number sequence onto a major key in Ableton with a monosynth with 1 note gaps for slashes in code. Sounds ok i guess haha :roll:

Anyone counting how many numbers each so far?

111=3
222222=6
33=2
4=1
5555=4
666=3
7777=4
88=2
9999=4

Probably means absolutely nothing, haha.

This is pretty awesome. Some CA BOC redditors are headed out to the abandoned gas station right now.

I just had an epiphany about how these numbers could be turned into a message!

Way back when I was in grade 4, I had this kid's book of codes. My friend and I ended up using the following method to encrypt/decrypt our secret notes: The encrypter would write down a column of numbers next to a column of words. The decrypter would take each number/word pair, and then count to the number's position in the word. That would return one letter.

For example: 5, synthesizer would return the letter h (or e if you start counting from 0)

I'm thinking we could pair up these numbers with the words we've been given to form a message similarly to this.

6 9 9 7 4 2 / 6 2 8 3 1 5 / 7 1 7 2 2 8 / 9 3 6 5 5 7 / _ _ _ _ _ _ / 5 1 9 2 2 5

You can do some interesting things with the numbers and the ones above and below them. You can pair up some 2s on the bottom-most row with a single 5 on the second row from the bottom to add up to 9 on the third row. The inner 5s (besides the very middle one, which is left alone for now) can be paired with 2s to make 7s. Subtract 3 from 9 and you get your 6s. Subtract 1 from 8 to get a couple of 7s. After all this, you'll have a lone 1 and lone 5 at the bottom - subtract 1 from 5 to get the single 4.

imgur being difficult, here is a rudimentary drawing
