Hi folks! I randomly came across a Youtube music video for Olson back in 2019, and the music geninunley blew my neo cortex wide open. I hard to learn more about this entity known as Boards Of Canada! Nedless to say, the rest was history haha! They are now one of my favroite music creators and It's been absolutley stratospherically awesome to find this forum which is such a tranquil breath of fresh air to explore and communicate in today's dystopian social media permapocalypse haha! Looking foward to discussing Inferno with with folks when it comes out!

Hi folks, been lurking here for the last year since activity started ramping up, been following the new release speculation thread ever since! Finally decided to register as I somehow managed to nab tickets for the additional London listening session when they released last week; couldn't believe my luck after the experience on the first attempt! Been a fan of BoC since discovering them via various animations back in the newgrounds days... Looking forward to reading all the reactions to the new record when it drops!

I first discovered Boards of Canada through YouTube Poops back in 2019 and from that forward on my life has changed, for better or worse. But I'll say on the better side of things as BOC is one of those artists that got me into music so passionately. I enjoy almost all styles of music of course, but Boards of Canada remains to be my favourite music duo/band of all time and Geogaddi is my favourite album of all time, so that is saying something.

I am a musician myself, trying to find communities that are in my lane but couldn't be able to chat because I'm very shy and as socially awkward as a brick, but I'll try to be communicative and active as I possibly can here. I play keyboards and I also endlessly discuss about my passion towards music in some Discord servers before, so I thought joining the twoism forums felt like a natural progression to talk about things I love.

Hi everyone,

I never knew there was such a vibrant community of BoC fans! I’ve been a fan since 2003, so 23 years now! Wow…crazy to see that written out and to think about. I think I heard of them from Radiohead, maybe they were on Thom Yorke’s listening list or something. I don’t remember exactly, but I downloaded Dawn Chorus and fell in love. I showed all of my friends at the time and they all loved them too. We all took lots of psychedelics at the time and we listened to Geogaddi regularly. It was awesome. Some of the best memories of my life!
When Campfire Headphase and Trans Canada Highway came out, I was deep into BoC and I was so happy with them bringing guitars into their sound and the lighter, more optimistic sound of them. I honestly thought Farewell Fire was the last track they would ever make…it would’ve made sense. It definitely has that vibe to it.
After years of believing this, Tomorrow’s Harvest was teased and announced!!! I was stoked again. I know a lot of fans had issues with it, but again, I loved the change in sound. The bleakness, coldness, and apocalyptic vibes were so fitting to me. I remember thinking how global warming was starting to feel more real to me since there were more and more 80 degree days in the middle of a mid Atlantic winter.
Now I’m just as excited for Inferno again. I’m sure I’m going to love it! Nice to meet you all!!! I’m happy to be here.

I'm Mike, from New Zealand. I used to be on this site years ago (can't remember the username I had here lol).
But have come back now because of the Inferno release, and wish to stay for good.
I'm a huge BoC fan, ever since MHTRTC came out. I remembering hearing Aquarius for the first time on a compilation and thought it was rather weird, yet I listened to it more and haven't looked back since.
Well, anyway, its good to be back here again. I have always thought of the Twoism community as a friendly bunch!
