the "roger that" radio talk at the end of gemini is one of the things that i noticed on the album almost upon first listen. i think it sounds really cool the way it leads into reach for the dead. the background synths in reach for the dead sound as though they are crawling across the track, creating an atmosphere of radiation.

its amazing what portraits these guys can paint using audio.

The music here reminds me a bit of Gemini: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... 56gg#t=982

I love how this track start to creep out after that vangelis-like synthline and it goes on alarm mode. Sometimes I think this is the best BOC album, if they take on the new direction with this album

Almost certainly just a coincidence but I was surfing around wiki for non-BoC reasons when I ended up on the page for VAX, an operating system referenced on cosecha-transmisiones, and noticed there was a planned but canceled system called Gemini: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VAX

Interesting! And the time of the last login (02:57) is the track lenght, i've never noticed that
It is the Self, the individual Mind, that contains immortality and ultimate truth.
Now I know where the Self is. It's in our own minds. It's a form of human energy. Our atoms are six billion years old. We've got six billion years of memory in our minds.

I don't know if anyone has already mentioned this but the last 40seconds of Gemini reminds me a bit of Ozric Tentacles - Strangeitude from 2:35 onwards, the chopped/gated audio. I don't think that it is sampled by BoC, just reminds me of the latter part of Gemini :) I do wonder if they took any influence from it though.
