Yeah, a WATMM thread started soon after the twoism.org thread.

There's a placeholder/empty space on the Bleep site for their releases
also on the bottom right hand side.

It wouldn't make sense for that square NOT to be there.

Three rows, 11 releases. S'just a coincidence, bub.

Yeah, I thought it would be pretty obvious I was posting that tounge in cheek.
Coincidence of course but a funny one.
I'm looking forward to a new boards album as much as the next fan but if people can't smile about the excitement over a placeholder then it's quite a humorless world surely.

it -is- funny. it's funny even if you don't think of it as a derogatory view of people who are getting excited, it's just funny cuz it's silly. but it may well be true, for all i know, and i'm pretty enthused. i think it's possible to feel both ways!

Turquoise70, exactly. Having a wee giggle at the excited speculation isn't ever going to change
the fact that they are a brilliant band.

Now predicting that the upcoming release will be initially divisive and oft-hated or referred to as "disappointing" before most of us come to our senses.

I bet they really get a kick out of this over at Hexagon Sun. It's like they're communicating with us in code. Next they will probably put up a Magic Eye picture that turns into a sequence of numbers which encode some minute detail about the new album or an audio loop that shows the album artwork when played through a spectrograph.

I REALLY hope they read these forums from time to time and have a laugh at some of the things we say

A Spring release. The thaw of Winter.
I'm guessing early May. But April would fit the mood better for those dark stormy days.

In the hands of Warp now. The wait...

To save me reading 9 pages of posts, can I just ask someone if anything other than a black box appearing on the website happened?

Not that I'm not excited, I am.... Very. It's f••king great news, but has anything else significant happened?

Nope. It's just that. Nothing else (yet).
Simple, pure, totally and utterly ridiculous. I love it! :D
