I am hoping/guessing they are building up to record store day(s), with official promo starting June 12 and release on july 17. Seems like the perfect opportunity. They used it for the TH release and we know the brothers like to support it.

I just changed the posting date of a post on an old page of mine. But it wouldn't let me change the date to before the start date of the page. But despite the above instructions I couldn't figure out how to change the start date of the page. Maybe it used to be possible but not anymore, or depends on something else.

I tried this with bocpages. Doesn't work. My page has been created in 2009, might be too old for it to be changed? Also seems like a feature I wouldn't promote too much if I were Facebook. In times of disinformation it's better to not alter the past, despite the past inside the present.

There’s no indication that that channel has anything to do with BoC. It showed up mimicking the attributes of the Hell Interface channel but it’s only links to Boards was through it commenting that unlisted video. Warp or the official channel have never acknowledged it and there’s nothing tying it to BoC so it’s safe to say it’s one of many hoaxes and a dead end to further investigate.

I mean..... yes, probably. However, we now know (via Sheol Boundary) they posted unlisted videos in the comments to other videos using throwaway accounts that are never used again.

I really like this track. I could see it on SocietasX. I don't think it sounds particularly like BoC, but then again many of their tracks wouldn't sound like them completely out of context. I think it's good enough to make me think it *could* potentially be them, unlike the others linked to in this thread which sound to me like the usual bad BoC fakes. That is, they sound just like BoC.

I remember that track. Didn't buy it was BoC then, not buying it now. If I remember correctly someone found the source of the screenshot in the vid but I don't remember it being anything worthwhile.

some strange comments with even stranger channels behind the commenters in the Sheol Boundary discussion tab within the last 12-24 hours. One of them with the name "I'm Sorry Dave I'm Afraid I Can't Do That" which ties to 2001: A Space Odyssey. Idk, just seems worth noting.

Another comment in the discussion tab on the "Neinuoy" page recently too from someone with the name "Not Me" that says "Cool Stuff" but they have no videos listed? Also, that guy has some edited versions of BoC's Peacock Tail and Everything You Do is a Balloon. Not insinuating that they are BoC but the name of them I THINK translates to "Don't Cry" in Russian. Only thing is, it's NENOY so I could be wrong. I know there are a ton of fans but it just seems like someone is trying to get our attention.

Well pretty much anyone that browses this forum, discord, or anywhere where these videos got posted can decide to go in their comment tab and comment anything on it, I don't think they meant to catch your attention nor trying to capitalise on the hype, that 2001 user isn't even saying anything weird either, they prob just confused at Sheol's video like anyone who sees it for the first time would.

The other person saying "cool stuff" is most likely a fellow fan that saw this video https://youtu.be/gwZH0SCmspk since it keeps getting shared around and just wanted to say they liked the song? I don't think you'll find anything by tracking down or investigating the profile of anyone that decides to comment on any of these channels. I mean I don't think its even worth posting about, its literally just people that visit these places deciding to post random stuff.

I still think that the fact that the HI facebook responded to a Pioneer event was in response to us with our theories moreso than an actual planned date. Perhaps if our good friend Opothecary was still here, they might have done something to respond to him too

Edit: Btw, I like the theory that the bros' followup project is related to TH, considering the Pioneer's Plaque was posted almost immediately after TH on September 30, 2013.

as a long-time lurker my take on this is that, having read many of the excellent bocpages interviews (kudos to Fredd-E for all his hard work), new music will be ready when it's ready. the recent social media activity including Instagram and the YouTube pioneer plaque is brilliant and (I think I'm right in saying?) something which didn't happen between TCH and TH. we no longer have working, visable BoC websites to browse, so how else would the bros communicate with/goad the fan base?

let's all remember that although we're approaching 8 years since the last studio album, since 2016 we've had three remixes plus an instrumental, the Peel Session release which included previously unreleased XYZ, a full Bandcamp page set up AND the SxT in 2019 - not a bad level of output in the space of 4 years, in my opinion, and it's certainly a substantial amount of music compared to the gap between TCH and TH (Trans Canada Highway aside) if that makes sense?

for all the talk of recent social media activity, the Sometimes remix, for example, has never been acknowledged on their social media accounts at all. the video was randomly dropped on YouTube and has 80k views. other than that you have to buy the 12" like I have (which I would recommend everyone to do by the way) in order to hear their latest output. it's just hidden on YouTube, with no press release, tweet or big announcement.

i guess what I'm trying to say is let's all enjoy this ride while we can, keep ourselves entertained with our different and wacky theories while at the same time respect one another and the bros. as μasch said many pages back, none of us know Marcus and Mike personally. And as Marcus said in the excellent protect & survive interview in 2005 : "if there's no apparent facts or information about you, then what happens is stuff just floods in to fill that gap, and very often it's basically a flood of bullshit that fills in your silhouette. 2021 has already proved to be a crazy year for music, yes we've lost Daft Punk but My Bloody Valentine are back with (supposedly) two new albums and numerous reissues/represses, and on Warp two sleeping giants in Sterolab and Seefeel are also re-releasing old material with some new bonus tracks thrown in there as well. so let's be optimistic for the future and enjoy it.

I'm curious. Would any of you be disappointed if we got a Hell Interface album instead of a BOC album after all these years?

Personally, i wouldn't. I think it would be an opportunity to either do something different with their talent or simply showcase their discordian humor and perhaps drive the Geogaddi sound into even madder territories.

I think what it all boils down to is, I'm simply excited to see what Mike and Marcus as people do next, regardless of the title they call their work.

PS: I have a theory that Daft Punk got boxed in with their style/brand and had no further territory to explore with it, so they simply threw in the towel. So if BOC are going to change things up with their approach/name in order to continue to mine new territory, i'm all for it.
