There's no real issue with putting up the music, it's already out, it's just another link, but with much better quality than we've ever heard, but then again, no-one's opinions are really prevalent outside of BoC's.
And just remember, after the Prince Murat ordeal, we were told there was talk of an official release of this material. It's creeping up to a decade since that was said.

Good lord, yes. We've heard the tracks for years! and there have been numerous "remasters" done on this forum. The money aspect really muddied this whole thing up. Hopefully that can be addressed outside of this. Not trying to be a prick, am sympathetic and all, but take that to the playground, and that should end that, yeah?

I know, apologies. Just hope that ends the debate. I also find it ironic that so many ppl clamor over better audio re: a band that is all about natural sound/aging and the fitting quality of the past sounding like the past.

Let's all calm down and stop pointing fingers in terms of morality.
I personally believe what it is you're telling us, but mdg is right, the whole thing is a little sketchy. Sell those tapes on eBay to your heart's content, you have every right to, just like I can sell my copy of Geogaddi on there if I feel like it, that's a private sale of physical goods with a transaction goes to one person. This isn't a shitty action like μ-Ziq tried to pull. We're just chipping in to thank you for your work getting this to us, and helping out a friend in their time of need.

I very much appreciate your insight. The tape masters will go up as planned tomorrow. The link to my father's cancer fund is in The Playground, if anyone's interested. But the two are completely separate, this thread is simply about the release of the masters.

My thoughts reflect this message on rareboc:

these tracks are already easily available online - except in various mislabelled, poor quality guises. Having the best rips shared openly makes sure that nobody has to listen to some really shitty version of a beautiful song just because they chose the wrong shady download.

I am just finishing my first listens of the remastered OTV1 and 2 and both are a massive improvement on the original sources. OTV1 is probably the more improved of the two, but both sound very good. Thank you so much for sharing these with us, for anyone still on the fence wondering, they're the real deal.

I'll listen to R35TT shortly and post my thoughts again then, I wanted to save the best for last.
