Comes to the greater awareness of the self
Divine Intellect
I am the truth ???
The pullstring? posturing? of reality
Consciousness
I am god, the ultimate resonance
Spirit
I am the soul respecting?
Conscious transcendence force
See C-C-C-Consciousness
Power
This insensitive ?? of the modern world
It's time to take you out in nature
Synchronicity
Consciousness has operational effect, alt? effect

Normally it takes me a few listens before I can form a proper opinion, but this already feels really good right away!

It’s amazing how they keep reinventing themselves every single time, sounding different, evolving, yet still unmistakably BoC. The vocal adds a whole new dimension to it as well and honestly makes me very curious about the rest of the album. It really feels like they’re aiming to convey even more of a narrative and message this time around.

Also pretty beautiful how BoC ended up being influenced by One on Twoism and now have tracks flowing into each other :P

Thanks Sandisons! - love it -

It does feel a bit like that - especially with the imagery: It's like they're leaning in to everything that makes BoC BoC - almost like a culmination of everything else they've done?

Yes, yes, and YES!

It was everything I was hoping for.

How do they make things sounds IMMACULATE but also lo-fi? Production value is off the charts on this and Tomorrow's Harvest. The lads definitely upgraded their rig/studio over the years.

I'm feeling elated because I'd recently thought, "we're going to hear bongos on Inferno" - Alpha and Omega, Good Friday Remix, etc. Boom. Introit. And this also makes me feel even more certain that Tape 05 is not on the album.

Good shit. Introit is *perfect*, no one does those little intro bits better. Prophecy is great and definitely a mix of almost everything they've done. I will say the drum beat itself is a bit more generic than I was expecting, but the whole package is excellent. Can't wait for the rest.

There's a turquoise hexagon in the first few frames of the video, cute :3

Now, they are thinking about 2002-2004. Limp bisquit, Korn, Bowling For Soup, Beastie Boys. It even has the same CD sound you would get back in the day. We are definately in the new millenium now. If MHTRTC was them thinking about the 70s, and Campfire Headphase the 80s... and Tomorrows Harvest the 90s/new millenium. You can sort of see my theory pan out.

Well the 2000s is the current internet aesthetic movement (and i've even been composing myself some cool IDM with Y2K vibes in mind). However BOC is clearly not aiming for that. What i rather think they are doing, is that they taking source not from 70s sound, but on 2000s that aim to be 70s. Nine Inch Nails, Korns etc. are all artists that in their time where mostly inspired by the 70s early industrial music and were using analog synth like moog. I guess it's BOC way of telling us they are fully aware of how 70s/80s nostalgia became quasi-mainstream during their haitus and it's their way of paving the next step from that.

I'm at work and had to watch on my phone in my car so my listening experience wasn't ideal but imo this is the most they've ever sounded like a """band""" and that's really exciting

I'm quite taken aback with how contemporary and clean it sounds. It really seems like they've moved on from the destroying sounds to make them sound degraded aesthetic.

That said, I really enjoy them stepping out of their comfort zone. I can say for sure that when I first listened to TH there were no songs that made me think "this is so different for them" but Propechy is definitely very different. It's very accessible and almost dancey.

It's an evolution of their sound and I really like that. I want them to do something left field and the detuned outro chords still have that little wink to classic BoC as well.

Yeah I think it's safe to say Tape 05 is not on the album, with these two tracks having been officially released on all platforms but no Tape 05

That flute melody about halfway through is so familiar but I can’t place which track it’s from due to how overwhelmingly blown away I am. I believe it’s from a remix or unreleased track. It may be directly sampled, if not it’s super close…..

Again if you listen closely, tape 5 is intermission between introit and the start of Prophecy. So technically it's there

I'm so glad that there are going to be more vocals on this album in the same vein as Nothing Is Real where they're a bit more explicit in the mix.

No way, jose! Just wait for the full album - I guarantee we'll get some of that good old-fashioned sound degradation in some of the darker-themed tracks! In the last half of the album... I'd bet my paycheque on it.
