The description of this video, when translated, reads "harambee".

Not sure if it's worth looking into, but here's a wiki page on it.

The Japanese use it as a slogan of encouragement so I think he is encouraging us to keep looking.

They appear to be from the opening credits of Little House on the Prarie (a US family drama TV show)

My guess is this is the original video hellinterface uploaded, and then he clipped off all but the last few seconds to use as an empty video.

Well once again, everyone found everything while I was working... I'll try to monitor the Trails video tonight, since I seem to be on an offset schedule from everyone else.

Although... here's my thinking: First clue came from a record, the second through a youtube video, and the youtube stuff started happening while we were all trying to find more records. Could BoC be planning to disseminate each clue in a different way and through a different medium? I have a feeling it's not going to be finding four more youtube videos, the same way it wasn't finding 5 more records.

Can we brainstorm other places to monitor?
- Official Social Media channels
- Radio shows (is Serofinowitz still doing BBC radio hosting? I'm in Canada, and not in the loop at all here)
- TV (probably not)
- Mail (they've mailed stuff to people before... this could happen again...)

Quite possibly, at this point it could be anything.

WHOIS information for swingnote.com shows that the site is registered to Markus Diersbock, who is also the reporter in the video. http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/r ... ngnote.com

I figured that out after looking around. It just seemed bizarre. I was just throwing it on the pile. Feel free to ignore it.

Hrm... So it's a massive coincidence then? That's actually really cool.

Another note from the 2020k story. (http://2020k.wordpress.com/2013/04/20/b ... cords-day/)

The Little House on the Prairie stills are from an episode that aired in 1977, meaning there was a hint about the next clue actually in the revamped Julie and Candy video description:

1977/snow/computing/amateur footage/beards/synthesizer

Interestingly, the next clue we found was connected to 1977... so what could be connected to snow? There is some snow in the Trails video?

It was really interesting find! Even if it's just a coincidence, it still had me going there for a minute! :D

a link posted on 2020k blog to a video by 'Nicolas Barnaud' purporting to show the last set of digits to be 735673 - this is largely discredited so far.
I just want to clarify that this is in the comments section of my blog, not the article itself. The 735673 video is not legitimate.

Nope. No sleeve showing it was purchased? No further information other than this record and some dodgy mixing on a sample from The Conet Project CDs? I don't believe it.

Well, if you are looking for red herrings, there was a character named Willie Oleson on Little House on the Prairie...

HOLD ON.

1977/snow/computing/amateur footage/beards/synthesizer

Both clues thus far have led into one another. The first clue was #4, which consisted of footage of some random fan(an amateur) recording what he found. AMATEUR FOOTAGE.

The second clue consisted of a distorted video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lub89YirmC4&hd=1 ) that had some (if you listen to the background closely) beeping and odd numbers. COMPUTING.

The little house on the prairie clue CAN NOT be overlooked, it is there for a reason, and could possibly lead to the first slot being filled. Look for more 1977 related things, people!

I also find it bizarre that people claim the episode to specifically be EPISODE 69...if you all know The Brother's obsession with that goddamn number. Ugh.
