"Uuh" Sample Hunting Thread

if I remember correctly the AtalantaFugiens account was used during the TH ARG, there was a text hidden in the video: "ONE GOT FAT". that was referring to the EYDIAB fan made video (which led to another clue)

That's certainly true, but the "One Got Fat" fan video that it redirected to was almost definitely a fan video on a fan's channel (unless Boards are making their own fan videos, which would admittedly be nice) which means that involvement in the ARG doesn't necessarily prove validity.

Their Julie and Candy video on that channel was, as I am sure you might be aware, basically verified by at least one of the people that attended a BoC live show to be the exact same visuals used at the event, so in Atlanta Fugiens case, almost certainly legit.

yeah the video was fan made, but the clue was actually a comment on that video by the hell interface account.

Thank you for the info, that's very strange.
I have a very clear recollection of there being an annotation embedded within the One Got Fat video, at the moment where the chords sound very similar to the Cosecha jingle, for some reason.

Did that never happen?
I recall clearly thinking that they must have planted the annotation in the EYDIAB at that moment precisely because it was very similar to the Cosecha transmissions theme.

The main surprises in here are obviously 300 and Gangnam Style, the rest of these seem pretty in-character for a Hell Interface type project. I wonder if they've secretly done some other project which heavily draws upon "the classics" that they can't say they were behind because it's full of samples that would cost a fortune to clear like these ones? Probably just wishful thinking on my part

In any case, now that we've tracked down all the samples this may as well just become the dedicated "Uuh" discussion thread since anything in the General Speculation one will inevitably get lost in the shuffle after a couple weeks. Would rename it myself but I can't lmao, if one of the mods could change it to "'Uuh' sample hunting/discussion thread" that would be swell. Also anyone here is free to use that list for whatever they'd like, including maybe putting it on bocpages if they're so inclined. Maybe a general article about Sheol Boundary and why it's generally accepted as legit would be a good place to talk about it?

It was eventually used in the TH ARG, but it was around and widely known to be a BoC alt account for years before that.

I'm starting to wonder if they have any others besides AtalantaFugiens and Sheol Boundary, though I don't think any of the profiles brought up so far in other threads are candidates.

Maybe it's just one of the "go-to" samples for demoing the CMI.

A friend who I told about the Sheol thing and who knows I like Herbie showed me this today. While watching I was kind of hoping the orchestra hit would make an appearance. Figured anything linking BoC and Sesame Street, even very loosely and speculatively, is worth a mention on the forum. It's from 1983, which might be a bit late.
