There are three tabs visible:
  • Timeline (part of https://bocpages.org/wiki/Timeline)
  • Interviews (status overview of all interviews with regards to scans, transcription and translation)
  • Interviews-translation (this shows the missing translations)

The screenshot above shows 26 uploaded interviews with either missing (16) or wonky (10) translations.

We're in need of translators capable of Danish, German, Greek, Spanish, French, Italian and Japanese. I have the last one, in Dutch, on my todo list.

What secrets await lost in translation? Exciting. And I would give emphasis on "Japanese" as they are very content-rich and the more difficult to translate/transcribe ;)

big thanks! I was just going through reading some of these old interviews, and so it's good timing to see new ones translated right when I'm finishing up a lot of the older ones.

I added a table today with all 18 recently translated interviews. Enjoy!

When you play in a band with a singer, it's harder to write songs with weird themes because the singer would probably look a bit ridiculous going on stage to sing lyrics about, for example, black holes or time travel. As an instrumental band, we can tackle stranger ideas because instrumental music leaves more room for the listener's imagination to decide what the music is about, what it refers to, what it can accompany. This allows us to be more abstract or surreal...

Next album theme confirmed.
