The production on each sample/recording has been beautifully processed, and the balance between the live sound and more sequenced type sound is perfect here. I play air drums to this track a lot, usually to the point of hyperventilating. Its got the energy of a really great krautrock track but much different rhythmically. Ive never heard a rock song that rocks as much as skyliner rocks. when you hear the beat fading in its like jet engines warming up, fucking incredible

I guess I really like the beats that sound like little things working, like gears or cogs turning and pushing out sounds. Kid for Today, Pete Standing Alone, You Could Feel The Sky... Sounds like that in the midst of your standard drum beats and waves sound really great.
I also really like it when they surprise you with their drums, like with Twoism(song not Album).. After the intro synths the lo-fi drum sound is great, but after a couple measures the full on beat comes in and is really nice.
Those kind of unexpected... or maybe subliminally accurate moments are what, in my opinion, make them a really great band. Like when you really don't know what's going to happen in their music. Every measure of their songs sound so unique; it's an amazing process to listen to their work.
