As much as I post in this thread and comment on stuff, I really try not to go down the rabbit holes with their social media accounts. Every time someone finds something it generally leads to a dead end.

The only thing I can truly make sense of is the likes which means "we're getting something at some point" but I don't know if there's any hints beyond that.

I only hope that BOC don't choose the truly maddening approach Peter Gabriel has chosen to release music which is one song per month and the album won't be released or even track listed until the end of this year!

Then again, I could excuse BOC with this approach since I like them more

The black banner and profile pics could just be a throwback or continuation of the old black box on their website if you are familiar with that - a placeholder

I think we must try not to be hypervigilant as a community, if something changes or there is news we will find out about it one way or another

I consider this a direct issue, because this guessing game Merry go round bullshit of "clues" and YT accounts is getting on my nerves and almost appears to be on others as well if the last few posts amount to anything. I have half a mind to DM him just to get a definite answer as to if any of this shit means anything or not. At the very least I can say for myself that it's a bogus marketing tactic that makes them look like asses if my opinion means anything.

Maybe he'll respond to you if you raise the issue, but I dunno if he will. I think the issue needs to directly affect him or BOC for him to care.

But honestly I don't get the weird shennagans online either. None of it, aside from the likes, is substantial to mean anything. It does kinda feel like trolling or seeing how they can get attention without doing much of anything.

Oh most definitely.
Perhaps to the average listener of boards, the social media likes and small changes may seem to them quite disinteresting. And it's only when a 1000+ pages topic dedicated to documenting/in depth discussion of online shenanigans comes along, that the average BoCcer begines to look at the smaller picture (so to speak!)

My opinion has always been that this is a loop, in which, you either need to find the loophole that gets us LP5 or be that casual average BoC listener from above.

Hope you don't mind me getting Philosophical on your ass Echelon. I either put the "passion" in "compassion" or the "pathetic" in "empathetic"

(I speak of the average BOC fan hypothetically though, I doubt there's such a person who hasn't read bocpages back to front without gleeful interest or has orange tattooed on them. That guy just doesn't exist. Cos I've been there, done that and got the T-Shirt. )

OI: That's quite a concept, mate! Finding a loophole in all this white noise that leads to the new album is pretty crafty. An optimist like me would like to think that's how's this works, but I'd need more evidence.

I guess Peter Gabriel and BOC both have some sort of 'long game' going on right now with their elusive next album and as fans we do have to be patient. Sucks for me because those are my favorite musicians
