So June 2023 they're going to release a new album AND all of their previously unreleased to BC, is that the dream on the horizon?

They certainly are hyping up their Bandcamp with discounts and physical media. If they had no interest in selling and promoting themselves they wouldn't do it! This is a very good sign imo

All of them I’d say. It’s in the interest of BoC, label and record store that all flows well. I think of all the recent developments as ramping up for things to come.

I think we're likely to see the next Warp announcement either sometime this week, or near the end of May, and it's possible it could be BoC (assuming enough of you have built your hexagonal shrines!)

Coming back in a year that coincides with significant anniversaries of their first and latest album sounds great to me!

BoC, Squarepusher and Aphex have all been vocal about wanting to do some kind of archive "box set" type release. Maybe Warp are planning for them to all release it at once or as some kind of series?

But now Warp is putting up the newsletters and social media. Either they want to get more money from their cash cow or they are gearing up for something this year.

this is definitely a pretty hair brained thing to say, but whatever (i'm not really serious about it anyway), have you guys ever considered the Grand Theft Auto release timeline in relation to BoC?

I know, totally stupid and there is no sense to this but I just find it kind of funny that GTA V came out the same year as Tomorrow's Harvest, and both GTA 6 and the next BoC release are on the horizon on almost the same timeline between releases. also both are some of the most hyped things on earth in my mind. (rightfully so of course)

even just the fact that BoC take just as long as a Rockstar masterpiece.... idunno, kind of funny, also, makes sense.

i don't think this would happen in a million years even though Tangerine Dream did the original score for GTA V, but imagine if Boards of Canada had any involvement in GTA 6.

That award music is the only new non-remix piece of BOC music post Tomorrow's Harvest. Technically it's the only teaser we have! Perhaps it will feature on the next album somehow.

That said, Babylulu, you have had the honor of giving us the first confirmation of the album courtesy of MDG so let's see where we are one year after that confirmation!
