the album cover, album title, and track titles all lead me to believe this album will be taking BOC's music in a completely new direction.

yet the entire leadup to the album, has a strong geogaddi vibe to it..

i really am not sure what to expect. i just know that i am very impressed with the album art. and the lead-up so far

I get the cult vibe, and I believe BoC will definitely be exploring new sounds and atmospheres with Tomorrow's Harvest. How exactly does Geogaddi compare to this vibe, though? I get a much bleaker, harsher atmosphere from Tomorrow's Harvest, whereas Geogaddi was more psychedelic and chaotic. But maybe that's just me.

If I preorder Tomorrow's Harvest and one of the classic BOC black t-shirts (which is in stock)
When does it ship, do they wait for order completion?

Thanks (hovering on checkout and hitting F5) ;)

Tomorrow's Harvest is going to ship so everyone who preordered gets it on the release date. I don't know about the shirts.

runs for about 3 minutes

someone else posted they thought it could be 'reach for the dead' since the track lengths match up for that one too....

honestly i am hoping its not a track from the album and just a teaser video track....

I want a fresh set of 17 new tracks...

Not only that, but the track is mostly just silence. I would disappointed to have it be a "real" track from the album. Surely I'm not alone in this thought, am I?

No you're not. I think it would be cool if they incorporated bits of static and the like, but not just 2+ minutes of silence and crackles.

From a quick read of the track listing, there appears to be a pre-apocalyptic start(Gemini), followed by the incident(Reach For The Dead/White Cyclosa) and then the immediate aftermath(Cold Earth/Sick Times), then it really goes pear shaped(Collapse) followed finally by a post-apocalyptic/humanity clinging on ending(Nothing Is Real/Sundown/New Seeds/Come To Dust)....happy days!

Same. Based entirely on the teaser, I can see it being more sonically 'sedate' than Geogaddi -- but a lot more destroyed-sounding and bleak. Very excited to hear it when it's out! Just managed to pre-order (after the obligatory server snags).

The little bits so far are very Lynchian and soundtrack-like.

And yes, definitely apocalyptic in theme.

haha.. Humm maybe when http://cosecha-transmisiones.com/ redirect has been removed we will not only have an album cover in place of the black box but a revamped website to stare at

By the title, I think this album is at least in part going to be talking about what we're doing to this world. We reap what we sow, and we will have to harvest the effects of our wrongdoings today. But just going by the song titles, I'd say it also might end on a positive note too, and a more optimistic future if we choose to make it so.

Anyway, ordered mine on CD and Vinyl. Unfortunately I'll only be able to get the downloads until I return to the UK so I can hug my new purchase. :)
