Certainly possible, we had another PAL we can compare with but the angle makes it a little unclear if the amount of tape matches up with the newest PAL tape

It’s genuinely great to see the forum come back to life again. The energy, the theories, the deep dives, it feels like something’s been reawakened. TH vibes get me all over again!

Also a warm welcome to all the new members joining us, you’ve picked a pretty special (and slightly surreal) moment to jump in.

And let’s be honest… after all these years of waiting, there’s a decent chance a few extra pairs of glasses and hearing aids have been sold along the way. We’re not getting any younger, but apparently neither is the mystery.

A quiet nod as well to those who kept the hope alive and continued to put that positive energy out here and maybe a renewed sense of possibility for those who had already made peace with the idea that we’d heard the final chapter.


And a special mention to Fredd-E, for the passion, the persistence and for sticking his neck out time and time again to keep people informed, even when it wasn’t always met with kindness. I know it hasn’t always been easy, and it hasn’t always left him unaffected.

And honestly… credit where it’s due. The level of thought, care, and attention that goes into whatever this is.. these strange, shared moments they create... it’s kind of incredible. Not just music, but something that lingers, connects, and leaves an imprint.

I wonder how many lucky bastards around the world will be treated with this amazing gift

Guys, this is huge!

I've been a fan since 2006. The first record I listened to was The Campfire Headphase, and I was blown away. That was beyond everything I had ever listened to. I became a member of this forum in 2022. I didn't take part in the ARG back in 2013; I was focusing on something else in my life during that time. I rarely post here, but I check it every day. All I want to say is I'm glad to be part of this, with all of you. Props to Fredd-E for keeping the hope and positivity alive! It must not be an easy task, even more so with all the negativity that I've witnessed. Thank you, Fredd.

Here we go! And I hope all of us can enjoy this moment! especially now, with everything that has been happening in the world.

The BMI songview search, which lists all track titles registered for copyright purposes, has not had any new updates with unknown track titles... yet. That will change on or near release if its a new album, As of just now, it's still sat where it has for a while.

But checking reminded me that a year ago or however long ago it was, the track titles from the old tunes tapes were added. This whole thing with the VHS tapes smells new-album-y to me but it wouldn't be a complete surprise if it did turn out to be the BOCset, what with those old tracks being registered.

Kinda surprised none are for sale yet on Discogs/eBay etc. Maybe they come with some sort of note that the recipients have been compelled to follow/not show.

My train of thought was that the tapes start with gentle imagery (whoever that first lady is) then segue to religious material (self explanatory) and end with transmission towers and antennas just like their discography. I'm just saying.

I expected the lads to release material on a Fibonacci sequence so it's great to see this. Haven't been this excited since TH was released. I wondered how they were going to top that one, and think they and Warp have done a damn fine job with the VHS release.
