I don`t get it!!!!!!

In every BOC forum where this red moon topic is discussed people express the paranoid fears about the event being revealed and many many people showing up. But (of course *baaaad people* ruining everything).

If people are so afraid/paranoid about meeting strangers yes, it is definately better to stay at home.

Over the years I met quite a few BOC fans/collectors over the net. Many of them are snobs (we have rare stuff but we will not share). So now the same will happen I suppose (we have the location/ have been there and recorded it but we will not share). ``It is my very personal favourite band, I want to be all alone with them at the concert, Only I have the right to be there and meet them``.

One one hand everybody wants to go there on the other hand you wish to be alone with the band because one or the other *baaaaaad* fan/s could ruin it.

This kind of thinking is ignorant and I dare to say it: fascistic.

I have been at many concerts in my life, big events as well and many of them were cool, even though strange people (and yes, some *baaaaad* ones also) were there. Why shouldn`t this one be cool as well even IF many people show up there. Yes, mostly strangers but nevertheless part of the BOC community, like it or not.

I am 39 years old, so I am probably categorised as *uncool because too old*. But I dare to say that I read many comments about this red moon party that were (in my opinion) expressions of poeple being old in their heads, hearts and thoughts. And this is a sad thing

In reference to the possibility of a Red Moon Party, and a live show, has anyone tried replacing the letters with their numerical values?

I'll save you a few minutes. The first half of the "possible code" :

g60h p5-20mh = 6607 165215137 = the Seward Peninsula, along the Western coast of Alaska near the Bering Land Bridge National Reserve. Oh, and there is a Devil Mt. within a short distance.

http://www.alaskais.com/AKWC.htm

I am by no means a BOC expert. Is there any connection with the boys and Alaska?

I know it's a long shot but who knows?

I think perhaps everyone would express an interest in seeing BOC all alone and to have them to themselves, but I think most people would understand that is just, well just not going to happen. So I don't think anyone here was being a facisit about it. I mentioned wishing to see them with no more than 100 people, but I was just expressing an ultimate wish. I wouldn't want to keep other people from going by any means. I'm also on the "slippery slope to 40" and I don't think that makes us "uncool", fuck I was uncool when I was 13.

Welcome to the board. I think you will find the people on here to be far different to the type you have come across in the past. We share music and everyone has the same love and devotion to not only Boards but music in general. We all want to be a part of this and everyone is on the same level here. Nothing is kept secret or to themselves. I think I speak for many on here when I say we hope and feel your views will be changed!

Well said :!: I also feel - as mentioned in my"slippery slope to 40" post - that a more intimate setting would be conducive to the BOC experience and there is nothing snobbish or exclusionist about that. After all, it echoes the wish of many bands including BOC who would prefer to play small or special venues. So Arnold113 you see that we are in principle welcoming of one and all - except when it comes to BOC live in which case its dog eat dog

intresting...

The Seward Peninsula has several distinct geologic features. The Devil Mountain Lakes on the northern portion of the peninsula are the largest maar lakes in the world. They were formed over 21,000 years ago as the result of an underground steam explosion [2]. The Killeak Lakes and White Fish Lake are also volcanic maar lakes of notable size on the northern Seward Peninsula. Four mountain ranges line the southern side of the peninsula, the most prominent being the Kigluaik (or Sawtooth) Mountains. The highest point in the range, and the entire peninsula is the peak of Mount Osborn (elev. 4,714 ft.). Other mountain ranges on the Seward Peninsula include the Bendeleben Mountains, Darby Mountains, and York Mountains. The "Lost Jim Lava Flow" south of Kuzitrin Lake is a lava field formed roughly 1,000 to 2,000 years ago, which covers roughly 88 square miles. Several geothermal hot springs are located throughout the peninsula, including Serpentine Hot Springs, Pilgrim Hot Springs, Granite Mountain, Elim and Lava Creek.

ok so now my head is spinning,... is hooper bay gonna be realeased the 10th of june, impossible, its a saturday. is the festival, gathering, gig (whateverthefuckyouwannacallit) gonna be in some remote place in alaska? doubtful, but then, if youve got money you can do what ever you want. i like your theory Archive1, but if 'g' is '6', would that mean that 'a' is 'zero or 0' ?? well this is a start of something interesting, anyway!

Whew, if it was a rare unreleased track/video I'd be ordering this right now. But since it's the trailer, which I already have saved to my files it kind of seems like a waste. I don't see why they couldn't just put the damn trailer on all copies of the dvd?

Maybe this is what all this Redmoon buisiness is about?...

derail maybe your right. i did a really "really", quick search on invacation, the word has something to do with Pagans....
but where did joyrex get this word from? i know its the name of the topic on watmm site but theres nothing about that word in the topic.... :?
