Just hope the album cover wont be from the same designer lol

What's wrong with the designs? They seem very in-keeping with a BOC aesthetic to me.

I hate them too :(

From what I've seen, they don't typically post about stuff unless it's very close. It won't be long.

Good to know. I’m of the opinion there’s no ARG, and that it’s just a waiting game at this point. That doesn’t stop me from refreshing Twoism like mad though

I get the feeling context will be important, but fair play if you don't dig the actual aesthetic. I'm a big Neil Krug fan so I love them, but they are definitely the biggest departure from BOCs design style so far.

It's a slow burn. It's been 13 years after all, BoC released all their previous 4 albums within a 15 year timespan. It might just mean that they're coming in really hot this time.

I like it. I really like the posters and I really like the tapes. I'm just happy they're exhibiting any activity, and I have been checking these communities for “crucial” fan interpretations but as with many other times, when I see a piece of art and then go looking up reviews or discussions about it, I end up wondering whether I would have had a better experience just taking it in on my own.

You don't understand Boards of Canada as well as you thought you did if you have a problem with the posters

Nothing to do with liking them or whatever, but if you are against them you are wrong

I think the posters we’ve seen so far are hitting just fine. They feel like a natural evolution of some of their older aesthetics, like music has the right to children and play by numbers, mixed with their more recent filmic Tomorrow’s Harvest look. There’s nothing to love yet, but they do the job of instantly reading as BOC and NEW

The Japanese posters are square and look a lot more like gatefolds now....

Respectfully: wtf? Dumbest take I've seen in a while

I've been following this band for 26 years, and like everyone else here, I'm entitled to my own opinion.

I think I was pretty clear. If you are against their choices as artists. You are wrong.

I said nothing about liking or disliking anything lmao.
