I am on the fence on this one. Let me mediate.
I have heard elsewhere that all of the performances by BoC under Warp have soundboard audio. This is certainly true of the Lighthouse party etc as we have heard clips. There is a chance, a thin but notable chance, that this isn't the case for Warp10. The fact that there have been no clips whatsoever of said performance in a professional format would back up this claim.
The bootleg audio of Warp10 is really satisfactory and a good listen, however, when Warp are controlling a radio station for the weekend and announce, without stating otherwise, that boards' contribution to Warp10 would be played, they must have at least naturally assumed that fans would interpret that as a previously unreleased soundboard recording and not Warp using a bootleg recorded by someone presumably non-affiliated. Maybe the person recording was affiliated? It is good quality, just not soundboard.
Whilst the whining can sometimes get a bit excessive and the fans certainly have no right to music that BoC choose not to release. This anger seems to be directed towards Warp for misleading them, it could be argued that this is the case.
Warp are only in business because of the service they provide and the hard earned money they receive from listeners for their products. If you have personally spent a portion of the money you have earned on a company that goes on to seemingly mislead you, I could empathise with the negativity.
