There have been 435 new members since record store day.

So in total there must be approx. 450 members here.

I have always read this forum. I waited all these years because I wanted to create my account on the 1/3/13, to be more BoCish than the rest of the members, but I got sick on that day.

hey hey please don't hate on "newbies" I may be new here but I'm certainly not new to BOC, I've been in love with their work since around '07/'08 :P

I've also been hovering on this forum once in a while for the past few years

The scene where the clouds come in with mirrored images on the water makes me think of Tangerine Dreams cover to Stratosphere:

Aha :> So I'm not the only one.

As I said before - love the song overall, and even the synth arpegg is growing on me, but that was the first thing that struck me in a less than perfect way. It doesn't stop me from putting this thing on repeat...

Hello everyone. Fresh to this forum, though I have been a solid BoC fan for about 8 years.

I noticed that people have mentioned the reversed version of Reach for the Dead, that Warp tweeted it, and that some have mixed the forward and backward versions together. Someone on the Youtube comments of the reversed version mentions that the actual song is to play both versions together. While I doubt he has any official evidence of this, what do you guys think? It does sound pretty epic that way, and fills in the long intro some have had issue with. Plus it gives it a pretty sweet outro. Also, scenes of driving through the desert match up when videos are side by side, and lots of other nice synchronous features. Thoughts?

I know, slightly off topic, but this is also pretty bizarre:

I don't think anyone is hating on us newbies. Just the fact that a couple of us have sadly been less than respectful. I for one have felt very welcome on here, as I'm sure almost all of us are.

I do find it funny how many of us have been lurking for a while ("black box" for me) and have only chosen now to become part of things.

I can't believe that this hasn't been mentioned, but I had a quick skim through these pages and didn't see it (apologies if it has!)... BBC Radio 6 played it this morning.

During Lauren Laverne's show. I just missed it live; turns out I listened-in literally a second after it had finished playing and didn't know... But I heard the mention of Reach For The Dead and knew they had broadcast it... Was expecting them to, but didn't know they'd be on it so quickly.

See just before 1:40:00:

And more comments on the top-notch production. Was chosen as the day's Headphones Moment - great call.

Heh, I actually lurked for couple years until around the Black Box incident (wonder how she's doing...) when I decided to join.

I have not seen anyone show a lack of respect particularly, but I do think that tone and sarcasm is lost in places like these, especially when talking to a stranger.

You know I sometimes forget that you're actually not Stanley Kubrick.

This forum has 2465 registered accounts. Of course not all of them are active, but still...

I didn't feel like there were any major spoilers, but he does give some basic descriptions/impressions of each song.
