It's interesting watching that video back and seeing the themes, the mix of views of humanity, some of the editing choices, cutting from fists thrown up in protest to hands raised in prayer.

People have been talking about the space theme for a while and I dunno if that is where they're going but it definitely made me think of that golden record on the Voyager craft. There's definitely a bitter sweet feeling to it, like it's saying this is us in all our promise and fallability.

It's so hard not to project meaning into it before seeing the whole thing.

Definitely hearing what I wanted to hear in terms of the kind of layering of sounds, that has been hinted at in some of the production and remix work they've done. Little moments that sound like they're pulled from whole other things.

Same here, this is very close to what I was hoping for in terms of new stuff. I'm also OBSESSED with their quieter, more ambient tracks, so I'm practically jumping through the roof with excitement, haha.

i think it will be on the album and will drop on streaming when that comes out. they did something very similar with Semena Mertvykh - part of the pre-release transmission trailer, but was not a single unlike Reach For The Dead.

Man, I so hope you are right. They said in an interview they have a vast amount of film footage they have made themselves. A BOC cinema experience would be so cool, to experience it with other fans.

We are living through a "Where were you when..." memory right now. With these long wished for developments. I am living on Twoism time today. Meaning: I knew something must be up when I saw this threads page count spiked since last night (U.S. time). I jumped back to read where I'd left off -idle speculators idling. Then saw this. Then registered for access and marked the box at my work desk. Then attended something for an hour. Then read the YouTube updated. Now, I'm on a hold pattern until I can get home tonight to experience the sounds and video properly. I've had a partner for 10 years and she hasn't watched me get like I'm about to get during a BOC launch yet...
