just letting you guys know, i'll be trying to record the entire night onto minidisc if anyone's interested in a copy of the night?
i'll be recording at 256kbps ATRAC3plus format (Hi-SP mode).
i'd record as Linear PCM but it would mean my battery would probably die. i'm hoping i won't need to swap discs!

). his performance at glade this year was easily the worst i've seen from him. i think he over uses his bass guitar in general, i mean he's a virtuoso but one of the best things about electronic music is the range of bass sounds you can use. i think he'd be a much better producer if he couldn't play the bass, it works on some tracks (come on my selector is a prime example) but it's just plain unnecessary on most. he can absolutely fucking rule though, saw him do a 4 hour dj/live heavy as all fucking hell set at a night called wang at corsica studios in london a couple of years ago. he's playing the same night again later this year, alongside plaid among others: http://www.wanging.com/

since they've changed the venue for Sheffield they've also extended the playing times, which means that i'm not gonna be able to record the whole night, my battery won't last it out!
as such, i'll be recording the following acts (as long as i don't get caught, and the recordings are decent)
