No, particular quotes, but I love it when they talk about their equipment, weird second-hand instruments and their creation of hellish sounds...

I do that when making tunes...I close my window-curtains,close the door, turn off the light so I`m in "the zone".And if someone calls me out of it, I`m fucking anoyed...I wish I had my own hexagonal sun  .

Because it's really logical having month.day.year...

Ive often struggled to understand that.

It's how it's spoken in the two languages. In contemporary English we say 'tenth of june' and in American English they say 'June tenth'.

I would fall off my chair if BOC actually meant October tenth.

Then how come on "Hi Scores" it is written as "June 9th" and not "9th of June"?

Because that's what they wanted to call it. Beacuse it sounds American to us Brits. Because they're called Boards Of Canada. I dunno.

Hahaha, calm down, just asked a question buddy. Just because they are called Boards Of Canada doesn't mean they have to write the dates that way.

I am the very model of zen like calm at all times. 8)
Haha, I didnt't mean anything by it. Peace.

On topic: But why the date, then? Where was the party? :(

What's the significance of hexagons to you?

Marcus: "The hexagon theme represents that whole idea of being able to see reality for what it is, the raw maths or patterns that make everything. We've always been interested in science and maths. Sometimes music or art or drugs can pull back the curtain for you and reveal the Wizard of Oz, so to speak, busy pushing the levers and pressing buttons. That's what maths is, the wizard. It sounds like nonsense but I'm sure a lot of people know what I'm talking about."

Marcus: I never thought about it but Ween are brothers as well, aren't they?

Mike: No, they are not.

Marcus: I thought they were. Are they not?

Mike: No, they just pretend that they are. [Laughs]

Marcus: That's fantastic! [Laughs]

Gotta love BOC!
