1. Has anyone decided to travel to Scotland even if it is uncertain whether BOC are playing?

I have nothing planned, I have a car and I live in Manchester. If anything gets set in stone ill go.

Likewise. If anything starts looking definite then I'm prepared to drive up from London.

I'm going to be deciding whether or not to get a plane ticket to the UK in the next 48 hours (to arrive on the 9th?) From here in Los Angeles. I think I'm gonna need a car though if there's a need to travel outside say Edinburgh...

As for this http://www.music836.com/

The fact that it's sooo BOC ish and has the next small wierd number 836, and has boc-ish images, sounds and the name Parralell Line Club... almost suggests that it is paralell to, but not equal to boc...

Still, yeah, it's a paid for banner, for the date that we're all waiting for. It just all seems far too convenient and similar. I hope I'm wrong though. I hope this isn't a good fake. I need some more clues!

Or, it could be a xltronic radio thing? A live set? A music70 xltronic radio gig?
Or they may turn the radio there into like a number station, spouting the key code to unraveling this mystery.
lol

I don't know what it is, but I like it, and I hope whatever that track is surfaces and that it's awesome. And I hope BOC releases the box set and I hope that some day they choose to revisit the Geogaddi-IABPOITC because everything said and done... that's still my favorite BOC era.

the music on that 836 site is cool. but it sounds like they sampled the little sample that was on music70 before the TCHP was being advertised on it.

I just noticed that if you go to www.music836.com and right click to View Page Info, it says the site Expires on Tuesday, June 06, 2006 1:25:32 AM. So maybe we can expect an update to the site sometime after that passes???

Okay, noticed a couple more things. First off, there's a page at http://www.music836.com/m836.swf that doesn't seem to be working right now.

The more interesting part, is if you view the Source code for the bonfire picture, you see who authored the page. It's a little ways down, and it starts with Eion and ends with Michaels. If this is old news, then forgive me.

What?! how so? as open as a possibility as this may be... how is this the location (based on the code)?
At least give us a hint... it doesnt match the OS grid codes (does it?)

Please explain.

Dont know what BOC is doing out on that island...

Its geogaddian cordinates ;)

One degree is 60 minutes, then g60h means thats its 60 degrees and p5-2omh means 0,5-0,2 degrees. Latitude 60,5 - 0,2 = 60,3 degrees (north latitude) g2h2 Longitude 2,2 degrees .t 0-n dont know what t 0-n is...

If you look at latitude 60,3 degrees north and longitude 2,2 degrees west is FOULA, a little island west of the Shetland Islands (Scotland).

(On latitude 60.3degrees north latitude and longitude 2,2 east its nothing but the sea :))

"Ferries from the island sail from the main settlement of Ham to Walls and Scalloway on the Shetland Mainland, and flights head from Foula's airstrip to Tingwall."
